Right you lot (and by you lot I mean ML and CLG posters)

I know there is no love lost between the two teams, and for all I care you can rip each other to pieces on or off the field but on this forum we are all going to be civil.

Any potshot from a poster from either club will result in a ban until September 16.

i'll eat my hat if Borters doesn't get three votes in rd 18

I'm eating my hat, not even 1 vote in rd 18 .....
How do you win 4 games by 65+ pts and not get the 3, 2, 1. At any level these are lopsided games and the votes would typically reflect the result.
Then again we lost a game by 98 pts and got 1 vote.
Unexpected results everywhere.

Zed, I'm sure you'll say I told you so.

Well done to the lad who won. I didn't see either of our trinity games so don't know of him but he won by a fair stretch so deserves the medal.

I think umpires watch too much AFL where they generally reward at least one of the votes to the losing side. I also think people feel obligated to recognise the efforts of a player in a losing side.

I think thats rubbish and votes should go to the best 3 players on the ground regardless of the result, if that means a bottom 2 side doesn't get a vote all year then tough luck, it reflects their season IMO.

Mawson Lakes over Lockleys by a couple of goals. Any results from Woody South and Trinity?

saw the first quarter at ledger reserve yesterday and TOS looked sharp to start with but you could see the cats getting themselves into the game near the end of the quarter..going on to a very easy win..deflating for TOS perhaps..

well done to riddler and his boys getting a good win over lockleys and giving themselves a huge chance of winning and going to div 5 this week..if so that will be a great achievement..will be quite a day of dejavu out at trinity on saturday..both games the same as 2 weeks ago..

well done to our B grade heading into the the GF in 2 weeks..took a 7 goal lead at the start of the game and then fought off the rebound challenge by a very good woodville south unit..high quality game of football between two B grade teams..

welcome to div 6 yankman and the MPFC.. :D

Which begs the question Zed, with Tee Tree Gully and Henley both playing in the Prelim and being open about not wanting to go up, what happens to Ingle Farm again?????? Could be interesting early next year. :?

I don't think Ingle Farm can take the option again, Houghton could possibly be given the option, or Angle Vale might stick their hand up, a-la Glenunga a couple of years ago. Seemed to work for them ;)

How can the bottom Div 6 team or the 4th placed Div 7 team get the option over IF. High ton deserve to go down and Angle vale don't deserve to come up. We don't deserve to stay up either but we do more than the other 2 .

Hello Div 6. I hope MPFC can become a worthy opponent for you all next year. Good luck to The Riddler and everyone at MLFC next saturday, our friendship as clubs has been healthy and respectful over the last 2 seasons. I'll go back in my box now and focus on unfinished business and leave you alone for the next 2 weeks.

Because Ingle Farm have already used the option for 2 or 3 years in a row, they've been able to stay up by clubs coming and going from the league.
