Well played Norwood better team won. Our best effort in terms of consistency and attack on the footy since June. Skills let us especially the three turnovers that led to Norwoods first three goals. Roll on next week then finals.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Great to see Bays fans getting excited about their senior side losing to Norwood's seconds LMAO. Bays firsts should have smashed that Norwood side. We are still knocking on the door of the five but are just as crap as Glenelg.

This helps the Eagles, should we beat Sturt by a few goals on Sunday.

Oh so apt given that you are coached by a former bays seconds coach and relying on Glenelg ressies stars such as Aaron Day, Chris Kane and "I bleed Norwood" Nick Ramsey to have any hope of scraping into 5th.

What he said. Norwood clearly cleaner skill-wise than Glenelg ... on the few occasions we were able to see it. If the game had not been an ultra-defensive slog, I suspect Norwood would have carved the Bays up. As it is, disappointing to be within reach of a win but miss out, but happy not to have the percentage mauled. 8)

Oh, and the free kick to Phillips to win the game was definitely there. No sour grapes from me.

(edit) Go Sturt....
Clowns OUT. Smears OUT. RESIST THE OCCUPATION.

Norwood 2012
20 games
1746 points
87.3 average

West Adelaide
18 games
1331 points
73.8 average

I agree Norwood are playing boring football
But thats because they have up to a dozen players players missing
When Norwood were very close to full strength earlier this season, they were playing good attacking football

The side that played tonight is a skeleton team
If they play finals with a similar line up, it is likely Norwood will be out in straight sets

I tend to agree with you Wolf Pack, West is not capable of winning the GF this year, however is very capable of playing in the GF.

Next Year Westies will be an even better side, just keep Collins in the job and they will be pushing the the top teams further.

Norwood won tonight because they are the best team in our competition at the moment and deserved to win, Glenelg are a long way from being a team that should worry the top teams in our competition.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting
