Last week vs Norwood, 2200.
I find it hard to believe there was 1700 there last night.
Any chance this number is wrong?
In my unexpert opinion, there wouldn't have been more than 1200 there.
Any other opinions?

yes, it is wrong, there were 1702 there.

South have two of the best forwards in our comp, why dont they get the ball in quickly to them instead of chipping around sideways constantly?

Yep ! You said it !

Frustrating to watch !!!

Westies were pushing back* quickly. having all 36 men in the same third of the ground and you could have Tony Lockett playing on Ryan Schoenmakers in the goal square and wouldn't be able to take advatage of it.

Ky Miller impressed big time across half back.

That Schmidt hit happened right in front of me, sounded sickening.

From Adelaide Now:

The latest report on West Adelaide midfielder Chris Schmidt is that his injury is an AC joint, not a dislocation as I first reported. Bloods coach Andrew Collins said Schmidt won't play next week and may not return until the opening week of finals. ``It's an AC, he's done it before,'' Collins said. ``If it was a Grand Final you'd play with it and just get jabbed. He'll be all right in a week... they heal pretty quickly.'' Kurt Thompson (hand) and Tyson Slattery (corkie) are also on West's injury list at the moment with Collins adopting a cautious approach given his side is certain of playing in the qualifying final. ``(Slattery) might not be available until the Eagles or even the first week of the finals,'' Collins said. As for the mystery youngsters Collins mentioned last week who he's considering unleashing on AAMI Stadium, it appears they are Ryan Dijksman, Matt Rankine and Zac Bates

"Collins adopting a cautious approach given his side is certain of playing in the qualifying final." Port to win this weekend then!

so westies had the highest number of inside 50's (57)for the round but apparently collins butchered the game, lookout if they decide to attack!!
holden78 wrote:Just another butcher job done on a perfectly good SANFL game by Collins..... again! Good luck with that @ Footy PARK next month!

I can say that with confidence knowing Ronnie doesn't have his teams roll that way, so jumping ahead, can you imagine a GF with Bassett and Collins......... just like an A league game with the possible result being 4-3 goals

Well played Westies, another disappointing night for us Southees. Even though West deserved the match on the balance of play, to get so close and lose again was shattering. Bring in 2013.
