Driving up through Uraidla, Forest Range and Lenswood was rather different last night. You really couldn’t do more than about 30 given the thick layer of ice covering the road. I heard the freeway was similar.

Hail, thunder and lightning while we were heading down to Aldinga for the last footy training. Not surprisingly, when we got there no one was out on the oval, they were all having a beer upstairs instead. Gum tree branches all over the end of my street this morning - the wind was ferocious!

Wet and cold up here today again - local predicted maximum 8 degrees C.
As Isobel Redmond said on radio this morning we get excited up here if the temperature hits double figures.
(It is nice in summer though whenit is 6 degrees cooler than down on the plains.)

I still think she is right to keep a low profile until the election is declared.
That way she will not give the ALP time to steal any policy proposals announced like they did last time.

Seems like we may be in for some crap weather within the next day or 2.

Although may possibly be regional areas of the state that are most severely affected.

Beautiful weather last night and this morning, might almost be enough to stop the redbacks from further embarrassment.

Just spoke with a mate in Booleroo and he was saying that they have had quite a fair bit of snow overnight and this morning.

He was also saying how good sunday was looking for a round of golf with the predicted top of 30.

That is a rather significant change in 3 days.

I reckon it snowed in Ballarat in December once...

Actually, that's probably not that surprising, is it?

On Christmas Day 2007 we had an inch of snow (25mm for the kids) when I lived in Olinda (Dandenong Ranges).

The lady that sits next to me at work was supposed to fly to New York over the weekend. Last we heard they diverted her flight to Los Angeles.

SHe's spewing because she has Knicks tickets for this weekend and won't even know if she can use them
