IF this scenario unfolded
Rd 22
- Norwood d Eagles

Rd 23
- Norwood d Glenelg
- Eagles d Sturt

Then both Eagles and Glenelg will be on 8 wins and a very similar percentage

But Port clearly have the best percentage
If Port beats both North & West they will be on 8 wins and in the five
or If Port goes 1-1 v North & West they will on 7 wins but still a chance if Eagles and Glenelg falter in the final round.

Either way we will go into the final round with three teams alive for one spot

A further scenario to consider

Rd 22
- Norwood d Eagles
- Port d North

Rd 23
- Norwood d Glenelg
- Eagles d Sturt
- Port d West
- South d North

Then we have Port, North, Glenelg and Eagles all on 8 wins heading into the final round

And all four games in Rd 24 would be critical in determining the final five with percentage playing a part finalising positions 4-7
- Central v North
- Port v Sturt
- Eagles v West
- Glenelg v South

I hope the weather is good and some big crowds turn up for the last round of games this year - last year all 4 games were relevant in determining who made the five, and the year before 2 were, but the crowds were very mediocre. An exciting finish to the season deserves a healthy attendance.

No expectations or hopes if we jag 5th spot. Maybe that's the answer.
Having said that, I reckon if we got a crack at north and then west we could suprise. (not that I'm looking too far ahead)

The race towards the finals keep getting even more interesting. If the Eagles were to upset Norwood and Port were to beat North with Glenelg having the bye this would put North and Glenelg in danger of surrendering there spot in the 5. Wow this season just keeps putting up more twists and turns each and every week. That's why the SANFL is just such an awesome competition.

I see it didn't take you long to fall out with your Parade pals, clearly the DH comment on Jerkrico was considered out of line ( not by us though ;) )
