Honestly Mitcham have no chance, i believe Payenham are a real danger they had a few out on the weekend getting themselves spot on for their first final & when their up & running they are a very close second to Kilburn.
The weather this weekend could pose a real threat to Kilburn, Seaton Oval won't get boggy but if theirs plenty of rain Kilburns skill level will drop & they won't be as dominant as they have been in the dry.
Should be a very interesting game with SMOSH sitting back with their feet up & watching the two smash the sh!t out of each other & hoping they play a bruised & very sore winner the following week.
Good spot to be in is top spot!

Got it in one NM - hoping they belt the living suitcase out of each other ;)

PNU had at least 6 out from what I could tell. Burrows and Sharpe being the main ones obviously.

Think the likely wet weather brings it back Seaton's way with the hope ground advantage! Gonna be a cracker either way - plenty of interested Lions looking on. Will be intrigued as to how Seaton handle Macallum (sp.)..Can tear sides apart in ten minutes on his day.

TBS - what has happened to Sclanders? Un-sighted all year?

Played some C grade then disappeared. Had troubles getting to training. Also focusing on sprinting I think.

PNU got the jump on Mitcham in the first quarter, but a spirited second quarter from the away side saw them go into half time only nine points down. It was all PNU in the second half though and were about 7 goals up when I left halfway through the last quarter.

Kilburn beat Seaton by 16pts at Seaton today in a not so pretty game of football.
The drizzling rain i thought was always going to favour Seaton being the smaller team & playing at home, they had their chances but couldn't hold out the Chics in the end, the Chics i thought copped a raw deal from the maggots aswell!!
No8 for Seaton was reported & should get games that will take him above the 12 game suspension for life policy the SAAFL enforced.
Seaton had a real crack but thats as close as they'll get to Kilburn, on a fine day & dry track no-one will come close to them.
Payenham i think will beat Seaton next week at Seaton ( if Seaton can afford another home game )
Kilburn should beat SMOSH at SMOSH.
I hope no.1 for Kilburn gets more of it next week, his stats on saturday wern't impressive!!

Agree with your analysis NM. No 1 was pretty bad too! A lot of us didn't play well but it was a tough day up forward(except for Claw the freak). Lots of pressure, rain, wind and a hard deck made it hard to get it cleanly.

I didn't see the Fenney incident. I thought once he was red carded he couldn't come back on but he did.

Some interesting decisions from the umpire including a free kick when Marshall cleaned up his teammate no 1(who played well yesterday). Didn't know you got a free kick when your our team got you high.

Pretty tough game of footy. Seaton and Payneham should be a cracker. I reckon Seaton might actually win, especially if it's wet.

No 1 for Kilburn did not get a kick while I was there in first half. Went to Flinders Park and Portland then at the flinders park acquarium

Your right with the red card i thought he was off for the rest of the game with a non replacement for 10 mins, why would you put a bloke on anyway thats letting their team down with undiscipline acts?
As for Marshall he has a habit of sucking up to the maggots & getting easy frees, i heard he's favourite for the medal? he must be doing a bit off the field aswell.
You might be right if it is wet next week Seaton will beat Payenham but the long look forecast says it'll be fine so i'm picking The Falcons.

Umpires discretion as to time off with a red card
I did see No 1 for Kilburn get a mark in front of the club house but handballed it, so no kick stat there.
Highlight of the day was Urbanic and the 10 yo kids on the scoreboard going at it during the 3rd quarter
The kids easily won the banter, but they had an unfair advantage.
What can a 20+ year old bloke say to young kids when they tell him, its so cold, he's going to be more embarrassed than usual in the showers after the game =))
I think I got it on FC's handy cam so it may even make it on Grassroots this week

Haha their banter was very impressive. The Seaton supporters on the other side of the goals could have learned a thing or two.
