No it isn't at all. There are only 4-5 teams that realistically have a chance of winning, EVER.
Really so you would have said Man City could win the league 5-6 years ago.
Your a genius.
Every team plays every team twice once at home once away. The team with the most money over the WHOLE season becomes the CHAMPION.
No manufactured fixtures, blockbuster games advantages, no playing the GWS more than other sides. No winnning from a zillionth spot despite being average all year.

Not with European spots up for grabs and relegation.
Most average soccer fans dont realise the importance of the minor european comps which clubs vi for.|
Same could have been said about the AFL with games involving Port, Melbourne, GWS, GC, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs they had just as lease chance of winning anything as any EPL side.

Yeah nothing like watching an extremly close game which could be won with any kick of the ball with every moment being potentially match winning.
90 minutes 90 emotions!
A very high percentage of AFL games are done and dusted with an hour still to play, real exciting!!!!

No different to players diving forward in the tackle to win free kicks.

There's a lot of difference from a player falling forward to try and win a free kick, compared to a player that didn't even get touched laying on the ground screaming and crying. There's more excitement in lawn bowls then soccer, there should be a law to ban it all together.

Alot of the time there is obviously faking but remember we are talking about athletes who run the 100m very very very quickly and then having someone else running at full pace taking there feet out from under them with studs on. Have you ever been ankled tapped before what happend, you lose balance very very easily (no need for the screaming etc etc on most occasions)
Try it on one of your mates. While his standing still run up from 20m away kick him as hard as you can in the ankles and see if his still standing. 10 bucks says his arse up holding his ankle going wtf.

Fair enough but what about the times they don't even get touched and are still screaming and crying? I don't know how anyone can watch a game for 90 minutes with no score it's the most boring game in world, you see as much action in a soccer game as you do watching paint dry.

Refs should be alot stricter with cards towards divers/fakers. Unfortunatly its slowing creeping in AFL, at least the AFL has started to do something about it before it gets out of control.
The second points is where i differ. I love watching a game like a 0-0 draw where every shot on goal/every pass/every tackle could be the match winner/decider right til the last minute. The Leo Barry moment if you like.
How good was the AFL drawn GF between Collingwood & Saints. Unfortunatly most AFL games have eg, 25 goals but its 16 goals to 9 goals and the game is over by half time and the last quarter is nothing more than playing out time. To me thats boring!
Think of some of the best AFL games you have watched and on alot of occasions they will be low scoring tight finishes, not the Essendon 21.10 to Brisbane 14.3 type game.
