not a bad effort for a defender who has been thrown in at full forward because We have no-one else!

And regardless of everything, his accuracy is superb.

Top 10 Accuracy (min. 10 goals)
1. F.Caruso (West) 12.1 92%
2. E.Sansbury (CDist) 12.1 92%
3. T.Menzel (CDist) 10.2 83%

Not hard to understand why Centrals kicked 23.2 today when 4 of the top 5 in accuracy are Dogs players.

Maybe Roy has stumbled upon a revolutionary training regime.
Given we are not as good this year, Roy's decided kicking straight is another way to snatch yet another flag

Westhoff may still be given an opportunity as that second tall, Wally may be forced out due to the depth coming back...

Dylan Orval may have kicked 4 but he wasn't all that convincing and still looks proppy with his troublesome knee. Would not expect him to be given a League game, at this stage...

With the form of O'Sullivan, Nason and Nash in the reserves, I'd expect one or all of them to come in for the Sturt game next week...

I tend to disagree, Matty Westhoff has been given multiple oppurtunties this year and to be honest if anything he has gone backwards. We now have Dylan Orval kicking goals in the reserves, he obviously has somegthing about him by the fact his on an AFL list. He gets two games to earn a spot come finals. Geez for all we know he may turn out to be a diamond abit like Lawton. If that fails we go back to Westhoff, not really much to lose is there by trying it but alot to gain if it comes off.

Matty Westoff has now played WA twice who we will definatly be playing first week of the finals. I would be surprised he if has had more than 10 possies against them.

If all else fails instead of going back to Westhoff we could maybe get a Daniel Schell cardboard cut out placed at the top of the goal square and hope it hits the foot and dribbles in. Couldnt do much worse.

Nothing else to say but that was pee weak in that last quarter and the home win loss ratio is just laughable now !!

Think I've had enough this year .... God it's hard being a south supporter :(

Hang in there Southee, but you do have a house of straw this year!

How many goals did Crabb have kicked on him today and how many for the season?

Scott, have you any stats on that?

It has to be in some part fitness as our problem, can we run out a game ? other teams can do it easy.

Without throwing in the towel, who can we get the spoon form this year?

Another year totally lost and wasted.

More than a fitness thing PP.

Poor Skills, mental toughness, leadership ( we have no one to stand up when the chips are down), players ( usual suspects each week .. There is about 5 or 6 of them), no depth, lack desire, lack teamwork , terrible defensive pressure , poor delivery into our forward line ,mentally inept to win at home, poor recruiting ........

So much more but that's a start !!!

So angry tonight !!!

I think the spoon will be ours too !!
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Same here Southie, the more I think about it the more I stew insides.

I couldnt make it to todays game, attended the Long Tan day ceremoney at Linden Park, honouring the brave 130 men against 2500 enemy troops who came out victors 46 years ago today. Vale.

whufc, I would be very, very surprised if Dylan Orval gets a League game this year for the Dogs. Lawton coming back from injury would be more of a chance, as would Henderson, coming back for the Crows from injury, via the SANFL

The best thing about today other than the win of course was that there wasn't a d***head on the PA spruiking every SA goal and no music etc. Football as it should be played. No circuses or sideshows. :D :-bd

Well done South, kudos to you for game presentation.

South could be suffering from the "remoteness" syndrome, which I believe We suffered from for years. Stuck out north, away from everyone, feeling persecuted & constantly ridiculed, happy with the occasional big win, pleased with mediocrity UNTIL someone in The Club said ENOUGH! So, We decided to model Ourselves on the most successful club in SANFL history. We took a punt on building Our new club, which you already have & We recruited blokes like Hulm, Stevens & The Gowans'. It wasn't easy, We were 7th in 1999 & playing shit. South just need someone with the balls to start all over again, get rid of the old school people on the board & bring in young, enthusiastic & vibrant people.
One more thing, when I think of South, I get a mental image of 2 things, old people living off distant glories & a drab guernsey. The shade of blue is awful, it's dull & lifeless.

Can anyone tell me who puts the Panthers best players in the Advertiser. No for a fact Ron Fuller gave Ky Miller best player. And speaking of Ky, panther fans how have you seen his first year at the club?

Those best players are selected by the journalist covering the game.

The ones on sportingpulse are the ones selected by the club.

How did Josh Wilson go for the Doggies ? I know Yank would be very keen to get him back for the GSFL finals. Is he good enough to stay up there for the Finals ?

Had a few nice moments, including kicking a nice long goal from 50, that sailed through helicopter punt style !!!

Finished the game with 5 touches, 15 hitouts, 4 clearances and the goal and think he showed enough to keep his spot for the game this week against Sturt...

With Cameron Milne not in great form and Jason Sutherland out injured, Josh is getting his opportuinity in the seniors and could keep that spot with the Dogs come finals if he puts in a good performance this week against the Double Blues...
