They could do alot worse than him.

Yep they could get Clarko. He's still dining out on that arsed flag all those years ago, along with all the deluded Hawkers.

For all the negativity in his style of play, he was done a tremendous job with the West Adelaide footy club. I doubt anyone could have done a better job with what he took over 5 years ago. I actually dont think there is much between what Andy took over and the Port position...no money, ordinary players/depth and crap people in high positions.

Wrong on one count. Keith Thomas appears to be a very good operator, as opposed to Doug Thomas..... ;)

Firstly nothing wrong with Doug Thomas, and second of all, he wasn't in control when Collins came on board. Don't let the facts get in the way of your 'valid' response though ;)

It is a little puzzling as he did a very good job at Norwood.
Perhaps he is in the wrong role at the Power?

Funny looking at the list of WB coaches

29-Wallace 79W-67L
31-Eade 88W-72L

Who is in the middle?

30- Rohde 9W-35L

If Rohde is in the wrong role at the Power, coaching definitely isn't the right role!

It's ok Turbo, when they move to Adelaide oval, they'll get 40-50k and all will be good again

Unfortunately there will always be clubs down the bottom of the ladder, and wooden spooners. Sometimes that will be the natural cycle of things, sometimes it will be poor decisions made by the club.

It wasn't that long ago your mob was down there Turbo, and more than one season too.

Unlike clubs from 5-10 or so years ago though, recruiting rules have now changed that allow clubs to move back up the ladder relatively quickly.

Crowd will be even lower this weekend too Booney against Brisbane. Maybe it should be played at Alberton or Richmond.

Don't think you could fault Ports effort so much yesterday, they looked to have a reasonable dip, just the skill level as everyone know is far too sub-standard

Agreed JK, backwards and sideways kicking was reduced, although as our playmaker across half-back it is still the first instinct of Danyle Pearce to go across the ground.

Will be a different player when different direction is flogged into him.
