Just got home and I am still buzzing.

Thought we were ordinary early but our last half was excellent.

Umpiring was terrible IMO.

These 3 happened in front of me
First quarter

Brad Fisher to umpire : he was holding me
Umpire : It was only for a moment

Second quarter

Ferg going back with the flight of the ball, eyes on the ball

Ferg: what was that for
Umpire: you cant do that
Ferg: what come back with the flight of the ball

Last quarter
Aaron Fielke: come on umpire you saw him throw that
Umpire: yeah might have

Not complaining about the umpires but hearing the conversations thinking what is going on.

Well done boys, great top beat Norwood and Dogs in consecutive weeks. Finals here we come :D :D

This game was really pointless only thing to come out of it is how bad TERLICH is when caught out in a one on one contest defensively.

Even though we lost not too upset, with nothing riding on the game it was good to rest a couple of players and try a few differant things. Wests height was a concern all day and they appeared a lot hungrier for the ball. Was impressed with the young fella in Ruck for West, smashed once again in hitouts.
All in all a good hitout against a good side and hopefully escaped injury free

Peter Nelson was really good. Took some good pack marks and runs hard for a big man. Westies supporters have been calling for his inclusion all year. We certainly got better when the conditions dried up.

A few of us said at the start that we looked like midgets out there and would need the drizzle to hang around.

West premiership contenders?

Smashed the dogs last week and now knock off the legs.

They are peaking nicely

Good wins by West but they still play a very negative game style that I don't think will cut it in finals but time will tell? Also has anyone seen how many players Norwood have missing at present and that doesn't include the quality players out for the season. Same could apply to Centrals in losing last week however having said that all you can do is beat you opposition on the day.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Other than the first quarter when Norwood got the jump and we did push numbers back, I thought Norwood had more numbers behind the ball than us. Maybe I am wrong but thats how I saw it.

Jericho, Cachia and Suckling all would of played if it was a final.
May get a couple of AFL listed back but they are just a bonus, wouldnt count on them.

Jericho has missed both of Norwood's losses. Maybe a coincidence, but I think he is a very key ingredient to Norwood's success this year.

Even when he has a poor game he still normally contributes a goal or two and his size worries opposition defenders.

Great win West. Umpiring was bad, we got a raw deal in the first half and Norwood got a few bad ones in the second half. Very inconsistant between the 3 umps IMO.
