The Blackout
Gallows
Puscifer

Hawk-eyed tweet diggers will also have picked up on confirmations from American mathcore act, The Chariot and “crunkcore” act Blood On The Dancefloor; and as usual nearly every band that plays loud, heavy and/or fast have been linked in to second round announcement – with stronger bets being The Vandals, Deftones and Killswitch Engage.

All will be revealed soon enough…

Still torn on whether I’ll go. Have seen Metallica a couple of times live, and apart from APC (who haven’t released an album in about 8-9 years) not many other bands hold much interest. Trying to save up for o/seas trip and house renos..

Was hoping for a few bands in the style of Mastodon/Devin Townsend/Baroness/Isis (who have all been on recent soundwave line ups).

Got tix to both Adelaide and Perth Soundwaves, in case the adelaide one clashes with the Clipsal 500.

Definately not, I find them boring, repetetive and contemporary. I have driven past a lineup to get into one of the concerts though. ;)

One thing with Soundwave announcements I enjoy doing is checking out listed bands who I have never heard of.

Crossfaith- their write up had me doubting, but I didnt mind the song 'Monolith'. Will check em out if no clashes on the timetable..
