Faark him.

Subjugated.

He's offered to be questioned in the UK, the Swedes have refused. Given that the US have labelled him a terrorist, and are prone to assassinating terrorists, I too would be questioning why they are hell bent on asking him a few questions in Sweden only.

Agreed.

I think that the Swedish sexual assault charges are a smokescreen for the real purpose of having Assange extradited to the US. I'm glad that Ecuador had the balls not to back down to Britain.

GTFO, no way!

The real show is yet to begin - how he gets from the embassy to a country free of an extradition treaty.

Hasn't been charged with anything. Swedish authorities just want to ask him questions and he has, quite rightly, offered to talk in the UK, and funnily enough they have refused.

This was in Vice magazine's email today. I considered putting it up in the political section but given the conversation in this thread tonight it seems apt to put it here.

I guess I can put up with his gadgets. He was pretty excited about this one. It was some sort of modem/router/something else similar and we were up till two in the morning so he could install it and show me how it worked. I still don't understand it but he got a kick out of it so that's worth it. :-)
