True.

I think primus should replace Bamford. It will minimize the effect his contract payout will have on OnePorts precarious financial situation. Which would be good for everyone. ;)

As soon as primus was declared safe by port fans and bamford gone you just knew what was going to happen.

I know you enjoy all things Port Adelaide, which makes me wonder why you didnt pick up on the fact Primus was not contracted for next season, the board last week informing him the option in his contract for a third year will not be taken up by the club. Therefore, no payout required.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

When UK Fan is about it's always time for a payout.

But just to reiterate, the 3rd year of Matthew Primus' contract was optional.

So no need to pay it out.

Hope this makes it clear enough.

From everything I hear no one likes the bloke (players wise).
I think similar to what the Power have done they need to get rid of him and start fresh next season.

Perhaps the Port Magpies and Power should merge completely, forming one competitive team at SANFL level. ;)
That would leave an AFL licence available for a new SA composite team - or for sale to the Tasmanian government..

I've been telling guys at work the same thing!!! Port put all their resources into the SANFL team, relinquish the AFL licence, an have the bragging rights to say the went to the big dance, won a flag, and are back to reassert their dominance on the SANFL!

I reckon this fact qualifies as the undisputed high point of Port's season.

Devoted 16 years of his life to an unpaid job for an organisation he loves. Got emotional when talking about his family and seeing them in the room. So what.

Unpaid ???

I have no dramas with duncanson being sacked I know it's what port fans have wanted for ages.

Personally I thought his essential to the cause press conference was comedy gold.Should be more of it at pafc.

Fisty surely you realise coaching a league SANFL team isnt a popularity contest... Regardless of the sport or competition there will always be certain players who dont like the coach.

If they win this weekend they go into the 5, if they then win next week against North they will go to 4th. If they lose both games, they can probably still finish bottom. There is alot still to play out.
