Round 21 - West v Norwood @ City Mazda Stadium (Sat 18/8)

Postby Big Phil » Mon Aug 13, 2012 1:53 pm

Match of the Round sees the Bloods tackle the Redlegs at Richmond. West were fantastic in their win over the Dogs while Norwood were challenged by the Panthers but got the job done comfortably, in the end, after a pretty slow start. Of course the last time these two sides met at this venue, David Rodan kicked the winner for the Legs after the final siren.

Thinking Westies in a close one.
Wouldnt be surprised if we rested a couple of players that are a little sore and we need to freshen up the squad a bit.
West looked very good on the weekend

We had a bye 3 weeks ago

After this game we have 2 matches then the bye and Round 1 of finals off.

Plenty of time to freshen up

West and Eagles are fairly physical sides, we wont risk Cachia and Jericho against either and maybe a couple of others will be used sparingly

This is a good test to see where Westies are at.

A good Westies win, won't make much difference to the Premiership Favourite.

I think the Legs are a long way infront in the SANFL in 2012. =D>

Only one loss, if they came to play that day, they could have went undefeated in 2012.

I think it was the Roosters that day. :-k =D>

Well done.
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...

And if Westies turned up in the last qtr in their last game and didn't put a noose around their necks then they'd have 2 losses!

Looking forward to the game on SaturDEY. Hope the Westies version of Fat boy slim has updated his collection and spins the decks without feeling the need to use his fave "it's the final countdown"...!

I can see Norwood dropping at least one game, either to Westies or the Eagles next week.

O/k if we must loose a game as you say, we will make sure it's Westies this week, and be ready to dropkick the Eags out of the comp for 2012 8)

Cheers
