Tailem, Jervois and Mannum haven't won enough games to have any contenders so I think it will come from one of the top 4. Girdy would be a great winner and much deserved.

Pretty quiet on here on a Thursday night again. I assume most members are training ;)

Eckermann had a slow front half, but played well since we've been on a roll. Girdham is a favorite amongst the imps supporters, but Phil Smith is under the umpires nose most of the day. Ramblers are a very evenly spread unit and will share votes. Brunoli will poll for the Bears. Mannum will have few pollers, but their core 3-4 will poll well. Jervois will struggle. Tailem, maybe Wark or Bowen could poll enough pickets with the odd first preference in an upset.

Good game of footy at Mannum yesterday. A lot of the local lads played really well which is a pleasing sign and Dylan Ribbons is quickly gaining cult-like status with his hard football and flaming red mohawk! From the past few weeks I'd say this year is definitely out of Imps and Mypo.

After a few too many lazy Sunday afternoon reds I find myself compelled to make the following very long range predictions in relation to the Roos end of season. I blame any errors on the very rough clean skin shiraz I decided to tackle because drinking anything better would be like feeding strawberries to pigs at this stage of the arvo.
Mannum Vs Meningie at Meningie elimination final.(no crystal ball needed to predict these guys meeting) Roos by a few goal to finish what has been a sensational tussle between us for 2012.
Mannum vs Ramblers at Tailem after Rambler being rolled by Imps in a close one by Imps the week prior. Roos win in a replay of this weeks contest.
Mannum Vs Mypolonga at Prelim at Mannum after Imps get over the line against a very impressive and much improved Mypo side the week before. Roos manage to stop ridiculously impressive run on play of Mypo and sneak through yet again aided by half the town turning out to the home ground.
Roos Vs Imps grand final. Imps up all day in a tight game at home with Roos finishing with a Pech outside 50 m punt to get them over the line.
Ah the joy of the anonymous internet to write such long winded crapola.
I am a glass half full guy and my glass has been emptied way too many times this weekend.
gotta love country footy

Yeah re reading it this morning GWW it would appear it is slightly skewed in the Roos favour.
Finals fever has taken me early this year.

Have Mannum tied up the 3 BLG boys, heard 1 if not all 3 may be on the move again...

Might save a trip for Armaguard to Mannum each weak at least!

My understanding is all recruits and city players informed Mannum on Saturday night that they will not be continuing next year. Apparently they decided as group that it was best to let the club know sooner rather than later. Mueller and Hall are retiring and the Barossa boys are heading back.

Caught my first RMFL game yesterday watching a mate at Mannum. Was fairly impressed by several passages of play. I'm SHOCKED no one has commented on the game. As an outsider I can assure you it was by far the WORST umpiring display I've seen in years. You make the SFL umps look like superheroes, I would even go as far as saying it was cheating. Mannum deserved the win and were robbed. I was also shocked at how the crowd just accept it and say 'they do it everytime'! WTF there would be a riot in our comp on the back of a display such as that

Went and had a look at the first half of the Ramblers v Jervois game. Ramblers were up by 12 goal at the half time break. The male model brothers from Ramblers were running around like unregistered dogs with their old man not far behind!
Then went to have a look at the Mannum v Imperials second half. Imperials were certaininly under the pump, some of the decisions from the men in white were seriously questionable and ruined a good game of football. A sleeping bear may have been pocked a roo park, will need to be on our game next week. Bring on the finals, looks to be anyones.
