i heard the same thing about kaurna this week may be there last .

div 7 aint as easy as what people think it really isnt there are some very good players running around in div 7 for alot of reasons like they wana play with there mates , thats were there club is , they live close to a div 7 club , there family are tied up in a div 7 club , workmates , and it now seems money aswell thats why when you hear someone is a div 7 player you cant just think ohh yeah div 7 he cant be any good because there are players in div 7 that have won premerships and medals at much higher grades some as high as div 1 .
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

It seems that this argueing is pointless and not having known the history of CLG and what paid players have done to the club before i can only comment on this year and no doubt their only doing what every other club is trying to do and head up the grades no one wants to be stuck down the bottom and be known as a poor or unrated club. Sounds like it will be tightly contested and i will keep an eye on the results. May the best side win then

Well not having seen a proper game i cant see what the standard is but i can only compare it to Section 7 in our cricket comp when i use to play there. Sec 7 although has some very average sides and players a majority like you said want to play with mates, cant train or for whatever the reason decide to play there. Would be nice to be able to get out there and check out a match

Bradman, seriously even when jb is being sensible and chatting about contructive footy you still have a go? get this loser of the forum. There are obviuosly a lot of different opinions on where ben has and hasn't played and from what i can see people are just pulling allergations from no where. i have played along side of ben I KNOW WHERE HE HAS PLAYED. so honestly you have now her'd it from him, and two people who have played with him. We know what we are talking about so that is the end of that discussion. If you have such a problem with his ability than be a man and make an effort to get down to the club and work it out with him otherwise you are acting like friggin babies honestly its pathetic. and Harvey....another thing you guys know nothing about. CLG VS NORTH PINES harvey got b.o.g by a mile because there were fights to do with him and other team mates brawlin throughout the whole match and he just walked away from every one of them. both times he has been sent off are because of other people screaming and hitting him. of course none of you would know this though because you wern't there. you just hear it from the grape vine and get excited because its another thing you can use against clg. I hope the best team wins this year. if its not clg so be it, but give them a fair go. and youngy and harvey leaving because cove didn't offer them enough money!!! they left because cove can didn't give them respect just like many others are planning on leaving for next season. Now this has all been cleared. Talk about the matches and possibly even positive things cause this is really sad to watch

finals are played at either
if the higher finishing club pays for final at home
or nuetral ground
grand final is neutral ground

Question for the Moderators. Why does everyone else get pulled up on abusive flameish comments yet this guy gets away with comments like these? Whenever someone doesnt agree with him he pulls out vile insults like these. Its not good enough, this forum used to have high standards, but i can see them slipping a bit. Especially through this guy. Please explain?

Also Mods while you are at it can you please let us know how someone who was banned was allowed to re-enter this forum under another username? I thought this was not allowed?

Seeing as this was posted publicly, I'll answer publicly rather than by PM, which would have been the preferred mode for a complaint:

The moderators try and pick as much up as possible. I hadn't noticed that comment. But if you take a look at the post, it's now been edited.

I'm not sure if Bradman is as bad as you make him out to be, but that comment was probably OTT.

As for standards slipping - I don't think so. Plenty of discussions do take place among moderators about what's allowed and what's not when posting.

At no point are insults regarded as good posting and when a poster's considered to have gone over the line, it'll be taken care of.

Further questions on these type of issues are best dealt with in PMs.

Cheers,

DW.
