The last 2 weeks I have posted 2378 and 2406 with 19 players, realistically I will probably need atleast two out of Franklin, Ryder or Stanton to be back this week if I'm to be any chance of progressing.

Its gonna be a close match, I wouldn't mind Buddy missing another week.
Another score of 2500+ will be nice.

I've just done some (half drunken) analysis and I reckon if THE BLOODS beat the Sunny Palm Pilots this weekend then Harrynuts, WLF, TEAM_FISH and the winner of the Crab Mustard FC/Backyarders clash will be promoted.

Sorry OnSong but: "C'mon you BLOODS!" :partyman:

You might be right OnSong, but I'm hoping my luck holds out for another 4 weeks. Thankfully I don't have Swanny so no problem there. :-bd

Realistically though my aim is promotion, either by making a prelim or being the top scoring losing semi-finalist...

Hogg Division III Finals Previews

Elimination Finals
Crab Mustard FC v backyarders
Sunny Palm Pilots v THE BLOODS
Qualifying Finals
The Cat Empire v TEAM_FISH (if TEAM_FISH wins they are promoted to Division II)
Harrynutts v WLF (winner promoted to Division II)

Pels and his backyarders have come from nowhere to snatch eighth spot and they are scoring enough points in recent weeks to suggest that they can put the frighteners on Crab Mustard. Crabby is still going well as he has done all season but in the last couple of weeks he’s copped a few wronguns and he has fallen behind Backyarders in terms of points scoring. In this desperate final I’m tipping pels to just get over the line. THE BLOODS look like the weakest team in the eight for mine and I reckon that the Sunny Boys can win the other knockout final without too much trouble in a result that won’t make FISH all that happy.

In the Quallies FISH can control his own destiny with a win over a suspect Cat Empire that put in a bit of a shocker last week against non-finalist BlueOwlOde. FISH has had his best season in Hogg history and can continue this with a win against my mob have suddenly got the staggers. FISH’s team looks far too good. The other Quallie is the match I believe will be the eventual grand final. For the winner instant promotion is the reward and it is really tough to separate the two teams. WLF has been in massive form in recent weeks and can go on with it with a narrow win over Harrynutts but it might be on again in the last round of the year between these two great teams who both deserve promotion.

Bummer, but if Roughead misses as is rumoured then it's still game on against the Backyarders...

WLF
Boyd + Lake

Harrynutts
Martin + 109

Halftime - Boyd 45, Lake 52, Martin 66.
Martin known for 2nd half fadeouts, Boyd usually finishes strong.

Great match, very close.
Not sure I agree with that, Martin less than doubled his halftime score.
Think Lake's injury early in the fourth, no touches after, hurt more. And not often Martin will outscore Boyd
Thought you had me after Birchall's 134 ..
