Well done to luthies a game played in the right spirit, thought we were ok just not enough poise and class that the opposition had.

Good luck in the finals

hope valley to good over havens, was a top effort by north haven tho i thought, had 7 or 8 first choice A graders out so to stay in it until 3 quarter time was really good i thought, hope valleys midfield were on top all day and have plenty of avenues up forward, that backline would have to be a real concern tho i think, center half back and full back struggled i think, and having to play brahmas and luthies at full strength could be in strife

Nothing against the Hope Valley boys, but there were a lot of disapointed people after the game Saturday. Knowing that our season was done and dusted, most of us sat in the rooms for a while and then dragged our bottom lip home.

We thought it was odd, it's not like a North Haven player to knock back a free beer after the game ;)

Not trying to rub it in or pick a fight here by the way.

Big congrats to the Rams for a tough win over a spirited Fitzroy on Saturday. Makes two tight wins for the year against them with Bourke kicking the sealer on both occassions and ex roys heading the best players listed.

Obviously a team effort, but some individuals would have to be chuffed with that.

Yeah we were very lucky we were at full strength to beat your undermanned side ;) Think we will be okay, lost to Lutheran by 6 goals, and lost to Brahma's by 8 and 6 points. Our defence will be under pressure if our midfield and forwards are lazy same as any other side.We are a young side with 5 under 18's playing saturday and have made enormous steps forward this season imo :D

I don't think many clubs would be full strength at this point of the season. The Lodge just lost Payne Jnr on the weekend with a dislocated knee and there are another 3 to come back into the side, giving the coach a few headaches right Robran ;)

Best of luck to Payne Jnr in his recovery, has really taken his footy to another level this season and done a sensational job on some of the competitions best forwards! Fingers crossed he can make a comeback during the finals for us!

Matty Rowlands wont be coaching North Haven next year, told all the boys at training Tuesday night. Said he didnt think he was the right man to take them any further.

Will be interesting to see who gets it and what players stay or go.

Sad to see Rolla step down from the coaching...we (the players) let him down this year with a very inconsistant and disappointing approach to our footy. Rolla took on the job when the club was in real trouble on and off the field and has a done a great job turning it around. Good to hear he'll still be around the club next year having a run around in the 2's.

Nicole I rekon Haven have to stop thinking new players coming will be a great thing. The squad they have is great, they all just need to stick around.

Its good that new players come out to footy clubs but I hope your not saying Haven need new players to be successful.
