Been saying for ages I dont want us to make finals. Nothing worse than making up numbers and getting embarassed in finals like we have in our last 2 appearances. If we are not a genuine chance id rather not make it.
Can only sit back and pray the Crows go out in straight sets

Correct.
Dropping the ball has gone the way of the dodo, Dangerfield did it 4 or 5 times without penalty.

Yep he will start our preseason early while you are making up the numbers. Next year when you don't have the easiest draw in history you will be complaining about starting preseason late....while the Blues will be fit and firing.

I find it funny how supporters of sides who wont make the finals say "we don't want to make them if we are gonna lose them". You finish top four you are in with a chance, finish top two a better one again. Only one side can win a flag each year. Does that mean that the 17 other sides all had a wasted year? As a Crows supporters I am really happy with our performance so far this year, do I think we will win the flag, no. but I do think that we have a good enough list to do so in the next 4 years. If we end up going out in straight sets, so be it. Would be massively disappointed but would rather be there than not.

I thought that the umpiring tonight was confusing, they paid some strange free kicks early (the two deliberate out of bounds and the free against Walker to Davey early in the game to name two) and then didn't pay some obvious ones. I thought that Hurley was really unlucky on a couple of occasions against Talia.

Thats my point. If you are only scraping into the 8 you have almost zero chance of winning it.
On current form we are a bottom 4 side as evidenced by the thrashings the good sides have given us the last few weeks.
I would rather not make it then cop a hiding like our last 2 finals performances.
