Cove

If thats the case, expect them to make the finals and bomb out in straight sets. Shockin track record at Gaza, gets totally outcoached in the big games.

Apart from last year when they made the prelim isn't that waht cove have done when theyve made the finals in the past few years anyway???
At least they are improving.. If the Anderson curse doesn't continue they could make the GF this year......Maybe? All will be clearer in 6-7 weeks time I guess!!!

Once again "Frankfurt" your intelligence (lack of) has shone through. It would be fair to say that most of The Vales players grew up in the area but i would estimate that 30-40% would still reside there, due to housing estates and getting into the housing markets, such "Classy" suburbs as Woodcroft, Seaford, Sheidow Park, Hallet Cove..... Are these suburbs up to your lofty standards...?? If you think that Morphett Vale have maintained the same playing group in the last few years you are again mistaken, the core yes, but if you have been involved in a successful club of any sort you too would understand that there is a changeover of players each and every year, The Dutchman summed it up quite well i thought, he named 5 or so players that are not at Morphett Vale this year, that's 25% if you didn't know... Underlay Yippa...[/quote]

Jeez i've been able to real you in Mexican....i can throw out anything and you'd bite....hey agree with everything you say about MVale...They have been great over the last few years. I suppose what irks me is that (except for 2004) they were not that good while i was playing - in fact they where a punch of blouses...

You think that key forwards are overlooked by the umpires Pavlova?? Interesting thought. I saw that pollard kicked 1 short of a dozen against reynella yet the ANZAC medal was given to Tim Howell (onballer) Did the umpires do the voting for BOG that day??

I agree totally TV. Tim Howel did have a good game and yes the umpires do vote for BOG and anzac medal.
And although forwards do need good footy coming down to them. you would have to be stiff to kick 11 against quality opposition and not get BOG. I saw he got best for his team in the sunday mail tho.

Maybe there is something to that theory Swooper. Cant wait to have a look at this years mail medal and see where the leading goal kickers (ie key forwards) rank. You would think If a key forward kicks upward of 100 goals they mite be around the mark. (ie Bomber Ryan a few years back.)

Certainly an interesting topic tho. Any other thoughts?
