F1 2011 features KERS and DRS, as well as the introduction of the Safety Car for races more that 20% of the real race distance. With qualifying tyre rules, race incidents like punctures and also tyre wear, the tyre strategy plays a bigger part in the races than Ive previously noticed in previous games.
Im pretty keen for F1 2012 to come out in September. Im hoping for a more realistic experience when it comes to teams and drivers. This hasnt happened in the past because of licensing issues I think. It would be good for all teams to include their Test Driver, and have drivers fighting for places in their teams, as well as drivers changing teams entirely. As it stands the only driver changes happen when you, the player, takes a position. And even then, the 2nd driver gets shafted and you move in. Then when you get promoted, the first driver slides down to 2nd.
I would like to eventually be at Red Bull alongside Webber to make an All-Australian Powerhouse team, but since that Vettel pricks the No 1 at Red Bull, its just not gonna happen.
I know its a long way off, because of licensing also, but I want there to be an option of creating a team. Codemasters did it in Grid, but Id want a more fleshed out version. Allow the player to pick different wings and chassis shape, mechanical suppliers and also sponsors, hire and fire support staff as well as drivers, and control calender events like testing. Also to pick where to set up base and upgrade facilities as you progress through your career. It would also be great once you've finished you're racing career to be able to stay in control of the team as a team boss and control operations while 2 AI drivers compete, similar to B-Spec in Gran Turismo.
Thats my dream anyway

The only problem Im having is that apparently North Melbourne dont have a forward line. I had Drew Petrie at FF and Aaron Edwards in the pocket with Lindsay "what are the big sticks for" Thomas in the other one. Then Boomer on the flank and we cant seem to keep the ball in the forward line.
My first game against Brisbane was pretty close but they killed me in the last quarter, which is pretty true to real life. But then the next game I played Hawthorn, who won 35.35.245 to 2.1.13....
My next match I won against Melbourne, with Aaron Black kicking 11.4 after I moved Petrie to CHF. Then another 10 goal loss to Carlton and I cracked the shits and went to bed
