Fruity is an interesting umpire.
What I've found is he's as good as the umpire he's partnered with - he's a barometer.
If the other umpire's good, he rises to their level. If they're bad, he drops to theirs.
Not saying it's a good thing. It's just how I see it.

Should be a colourful day at Mawson Lakes Hotel Oval Saturday for this week’s triple header against Ingle Farm and Fitzroy. We’ll be lucky enough to have a model body painted in our colours inside our club rooms. She’ll be there around 12:30 for those interested in having a look. Might even bring some ‘Non footy lovers’ to MLFC this week Hopefully Half Back Flanker, Punk Rooster and old farmer are ready for their photo with her

Ouch I didn't see the incident, but I did see the aftermath. Was this around half time, yet you played on? That sort of stuff reminds me of Brereton in the 89 GF Seriously though, our players expressed afterwards that it looked a nasty blow, and one of our players said that you clashed heads with him. Fortunately for him it was the back of his head and unfortunately for you it was the front Wish you a speedy recovery and you'll have to put that modelling career on hold for a week.

Its come up nicely today!! One of the best shiners ive ever seen lol. At least it hasnt spread to give him the dreaded double shiner

As far as I know of the rules of this season, u have to show the other team manager your team sheet at half time and point out the blokes on the team sheet. Ie, u can't name people if they are not there just to get there tally up.

We had a good win against a spirited Lockleys who never stopped all day even though we were way ahead early on.
They're a good bunch of blokes, wish them success in 2013.

That isnt the reason, we were down to 8 players for this week with people unavailable due to work and some niggling injuries, plus the Bs had to take some players as they were short.
