Fifth Spot

4 games to go, who will grab 5th? I still think Glenelg will drop out. On form, I think Port.

Dunno but I never remember a ladder like the current one this late into a season.
6th, 7th, 8th and 9th only separated by percentage.

Glenelg will probably win next week so don't know if they'll drop out, North don't beat teams below them on the table and we're running out of midfielders too!

We'll finish 5th
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Another half-decent side will finish last... when Sturt finished last with 5 wins last year, that was the most wins in well over a decade by the bottom side (South with 5 in 1997), now another team will back that up with 5-7 wins for the year, but still get the spoon.

North - Glenelg (H), Torrens (A), BYE, Port (H), South (A), Central (A)

Glenelg - North (A), Port (A), Sturt (A), BYE, Norwood (H), South (H)

Port - BYE, Glenelg (H), Torrens (A), North (A), West (H), Sturt (H)

South - BYE, Norwood (A), Central (H), West (A), North (H), Glenelg (A)

Sturt - Norwood (A), BYE, Glenelg (H), Central (A), Torrens (H), Port (A)

Torrens - BYE, North (H), Port (H), Norwood (A), Sturt (A), West (H)

On paper, North and Glenelg have good runs home, playing each other and 3 sides below them, but there's no guarantee they'll win those games based on what we've seen this season. Port could easily win all 5, South look like losing the next two, but then are 50-50 for the remaining 3 games, Sturt could win 2-3, Torrens could win 4.

Its very much up in the air to me...

Given the up and down nature of of this season I am confident of winning two of Sturt/North/South/Port.

Which ones I don't know but I reckon we'll win two of those to hold onto fifth.

Looking at the draw North will only get one more win, the game against Central.

North to beat Glenelg & South.
Glenelg to lose every game.
Port to beat Glenelg, North & Sturt.
South to beat Glenelg.
Eagles to beat North, Port & West.
Sturt to beat Glenelg & Eagles.

How great is it that there can be so much to play for in our comp. Compared to the other mob in the AFL I reckon it's fantastic that all teams are alive!
Yeh let's f--- it up with shite AFL reserve viruses

Port (in fact the bottom 4!!) might just be three games out the 5 this weekend, unless Sturt somehow manage to upset Norwood.

If that is the case, start the finals in three weeks.
