Looks like a 2-horse race in Div 5 this year.
% only in battle for top spot.

AL - have Westm, Fitz and HV
BL - have WC, Glen, Fitz

AL top spot for mine.

Any elaborating on this culture? Not saying your wrong you could be spot on, just curious about what people think the situation is.

Yep 2 horse race for top spot but not for the premiership. You would have to think AL and BL are favourites to play off but we all know finals footy is a different game and as some of the last few weeks results have proved, anybody can beat anyone on their day. Really looking forward to this finals series...

BL a very impressive unit, ran hard all day and used the ball very well. Clark (number 7) is an absolute gun, and Aloisi is as clever as any player going round.. There style should hold up well in finals as well, id expect them to get promoted at a minimum..

I know its probably flogging a dead horse, but hot water in showers isnt too much to ask is it? Makes it hard to stick around for a beer after the game as we all left to shower before presentations back at the club, may sound petty but i dont think its to much to ask..

So Deeman you believe a club who were in debt 3 years ago and being relegated to div 5 and then the next year were relegated to Div 6, but were given a life line to stay in Div 5 and to their credit played the 2nd round of finals. To recruiting 20+ players this year, money in the bank, 4 teams playing, a B grade premiership threat and the A's playing some fantastic games with a very new group. IN NEED OF A BROOM! the A's drop some games that they should have won and that's very clear, but that group will be very competitive if they stick together. Lutheran and Brahma both missed finals last year, now look at them!!

Did you check the power outlet outside next to the water heater? In the past it appears some people get some fun out of either turning this off or unplugging it.

Well done to Rosies B grade, even though they were down all day they didnt do anything stupid to their credit and just kept at it all day.

To be honest Eddie, no we didnt check. All we got told after our game was that when the B graders had showers there was no hot water, so we had our meeting then all headed back to our club for a shower/presentations.. Its a shame we didnt stick around because BL seem like a good bunch of lads, and we usually make a conserted effort as a club to have at least 1 beer with the opposition after a game

to be honest mate,i dont know alot about the club personally, just what im told and what i hear
my reference is that some at the club have the above impression and have already started talking to people about heading the club in a different direction next year
i dont know the people from havens personally but do know its a fact that a person was asked to and did meet a group about the job next season
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one
