That was a long time ago now and both teams have changed. Our recent form against top 3 teams says this weekend will be a different story.

Some interesting debates in other div's as to the teams of the year. Be nice to get some thoughts from Div 7 posters as to who you think would be there. Interested?

All I know is Brad Steele should be a lock for a back packet.

Usually I am joking when it comes to Steeley but he is having an awesome year.

Who selects the team at end of the day

Surely the sporting pulse data is still able to list the best players count? Despite coaches admitting that half the best players listed are merely just encouragement awards

Tough ask Pacman because I study the teams structures more than the individual. That said, there are some real quality players in Div 7 so I'll give it a shot. My interest is in making sure players get rewarded for effort and I believe the criteria is they must have played 12 or 13 games. Obviously I see my own players differently than the opposition so don't shoot the messenger.

Mitchell Pk - Harrison, Mazey, Lindholm, the Macca twins and Hay. Daish would be there but out for 6.
TTG - Mount, Dow, Noske, Bauer, Haynes plus Chambers and Fraser (but they won't play enough games)
Henley - Fairclough, Dempsey, Pearce, Lovender and Bellingham. Like Boucher a lot but he has missed a few.
Angle Vale - Matthews, Burgess, Creek, Early and Gray.
North Pines - Stephens, Mackareth, Marks, Sansbury and 1 more from as many as 8 indigenous stars.
Flinders Pk - Size, the Pitchers, Byrnes, but injuries have depleted them of some quality players.
Sacred Heart - Alder, Kearvill, Pearl, Whiting.
Modbury - Budgen, Symes and I'm sure the Modbury posters can update this as they have so many ins and outs.
Smithfield - Maynard, Stewart and Lane.
Flinders Uni - Rowe and a team of gutsy champs.

Mount for me is the standout and should win the Div 7 medal after a runner up to O'Gorman last year. He seems to be in much better nick physically this year playing in a stronger team. Let's not forget that so many players in our Div have played A1, A2, A3, A4, A1 SFL, A1 Hills, A6 finals, and that's just the ones I know. We have a real good comp guys and let's not forget it. So if you have players who you think should be eligible, post, because the selectors read the forums.

Gr8 contest with Henley today come down to a shot after the siren.
Game played in gr8 spirits and tough contest.
Well done to Henley to get over the line gr8 last quater by the sharks 5.2 to 3.7.
The owls held there key players to have little influence but others stood up for the Sharks.
Final score was 14.8 to 12.15 sharks by 5 pts.
Hopefully we meet again in the finals.

Yeah what a day what a game your blokes were terrific today some serious and outstanding plays by the vales and were really up and about. Uncanny umpiring I think we both copped the blunt end of some strange decisions wtf.
But all in all well done by both sides to perform so well in the crunch. You's missed some important goals but others u did kick were unbelievable.

Compliments to your club to facilitate a game away from normal home ground. Was well done by all.

One decision saw us penalised because our drinks boy was just inside our forward 50 near the boundary line during vale's kick in? Haha is that for real

is there a rule that says once the ump is walking in to throw the ball up, a player (if the team only has 2 rovers in the middle with the ruck) cannot enter the square to make up the 4th number?
