The reserves have won three flags in a row and the U/17 have lost 2 games in 2 years. Surely there is enough home grown talent there to develop. It may result in short term success but there may also be some long term damage in this move.

If the stocks below are this blessed then this is a real sign of weakness by Imps. If I was Seyers I would say, thanks but no thanks. It must be a hollow feeling when the final siren goes and every other player is in arms knowing what they've been through together, losses, cold and rainy nights and he's not done any of that  I thought the 'great' Collo would stand for more than that. Not hit the panic button after a couple of losses. He obviously isn't confident otherwise, these players would not have been approached?

Hall was not chased he changed work and needed somewhere to play!!
Seyers was always going to return at this time of the year even if we had one 1 game so far it was pre organised as this will click him over for life membership and also hopefully send him off with a premiership as he has said this is his last season!!

I'm assuming he's a paid player - the club could have just said he's welcome to come on board, but not pay him.

In the Round 14 summary on RMFL Sporting Pulse, it says:
Its been alleged that Chris Ladhams announced to any one at Jervois who was listening that he wont be coaching the Club in 2013. There are two rumours circulating about “Ladsy”, one that he is seeking an interstate appointment, the other being that he will continue as a player in this league but not necessarily with Jervois.

What other club in the RMFL is he being linked to next year? Meningie?

I havent heard one GOOD thing about ladhams as a coach, may be a good player but at what expense.Jervois has gone backwards since he has been at the club, terrible communicater and from what ive seen plays for himself not the club, not to mention his off field ANTICS.Nhill have offered him over 20k to return there, hope he takes it before he wrecks a great club like the bluds.

Must admit Im shocked another RMFL club would show interest in Ladhams. As said, his reputation and ability as a coach, is far from encouraging. As a player, he's worth a punt but not as a coach.

There is simply no way Ladhams will go to Imperials. I would need to write a book if you would want me to write down all the reasons why this will not occur.

Pretty sure he has signed with Ramblers.

Him and Joel Kay became best mates after the broken jaw incident from last year and he agreed to terms last week. After all, we need a forward thats for sure

Might be chasing a job in another league at a fairly high level.

I'm not sure if that post is serious - but if it is - I didn't think Ramblers paid the type of money that Ladhams would be after.

Ladhams still impresses himself with his stellar career at AFL level.... he's never been a coach and only put his hand up to do it based on the fact he could still play (which he thinks is a winning formular) and the money. If another club wants him they either A) havent done themselves due dilligence by checking things out B) He's pulled the wool with his stories of fame and fortune C) he's inheriting a ready made team.

Good onya ladsy, if they pay it, take it!

Potentially serious injuries to Davies (groin) and J Hollitt (knee) might start to test Imps depth a bit. Both were on crutchers last night. Was a great game between the blues and the bears and I found out Hall is a serious player. When he hits someone it hurts!!

Kerren Hall was massive for Imps yesterday.... Got it done in defence early on, then kicking goals and playing in the ruck when required when Davey went down.... If he didn't pick up 3 mail medal votes yesterday the umpires must've been too busy watching McLeod and Motlop to worry about anything else....

Was a super game of footy... hard and tough early and close all day.... Really looked like boiling over a few times early - umpires probably should've taken an opportunity to clamp it out but let it go and ended up with D Motlop being carded - nice example being set for his team....
