If he misses games, may cost him another Magarey and shorten up Chris Schmdit's price?

Still think Allan is a lot tougher at the footy than a lot of blokes give him credit for. No Ty Allen but when he has to go he puts his head over the footy

Oh lets bring that old chestnut out!

Allan will miss this week and possibly more including the remainder of the season - club is still waiting scan results.

North will have no hope if he misses any games - 30 odd possies a match is too hard to replace given midfield depth has been a real issue at Prospect this year.

Will be a real tragedy if injury robs him of a 4th MM - he will mirror the great BR in 1974 if that is the case!

Update from the NAFC website:

James Allan suffered a knee injury on Sunday against South Adelaide which will keep him on the sidelines for up to 3 matches. Scans show he has a partial posterior cruciate ligament tear which requires immediate rest to enable the swelling and soreness to subside. His knee will be further assessed in the next 2 weeks and we’ll forward from there.

Try and ignore them, the two of them are clearly baiting where ever they can.

The delay was in modifying my anger in my reponse!

Just shows that some people on here have NFI about football!

If it is was season ending which it looks like it is or required a reco and he was out for up to 12 months, I wonder if those idiots would be so "flippant" instead of recognising his stature within the SANFL? Not sure too many on here despite their thoughts about how he goes about his football (and for that matter any other footballer) would wish them ill by making fun of a player going down with potentially a serious injury let alone any injury?

Is that you Cornesy?? ;)

Losing Jimmy for a few weeks could be disastrous for North. They have already shown a lack of midfield depth this season by recruiting an unwanted player from Port Adelaide mid season. Who after 1 game in the 2's at North was put into the league team

If it is a 12 month injury, has he played his last SANFL game? Has thought about going home IIRC

Jay Shannon played a good game on Sunday as did Dalwood from Nwd but your correct! Losing Allan is really going to hurt an already shakey midfield. Still he is a chance not to go on in 2013 so the next few games will be a rehersal for life after Jimmy!

Trouble is we have no real depth having lost Delvins earlier in the year and with Backwell and Handby gone the options get even thinner, throw in Fenton who cannot shake off injuries and the likes of Armstrong and co. not cutting this year Bennett will have a massive load to shoulder for the next few weeks!
