Old Farmer - supplying a boundary ump is no massive issue as the league will always struggle at times and it was known in advance, but what i was saying as it would seem easier for home sides only to have to supply as not all away sides have much of a travelling crowd and find it harder to supply whereas all other games had a full compliment.

Was very tongue in cheek buddy, hence the wink. You obviously havn't spent too much time in lower divisions where both teams find boundry and goal umpires every week, and we get the best of field umpires supplied. And you never see anyone on the div 6 page wingeing. ;)

Seaton are used to getting a little ahead of themselves & nothing like a big reality check when inflated heads & ego's get too big!!

Interestingly, I believe this was a Seaton home game played at Payneham - they gave up the home ground advantage because of the Crows game. How much difference would it have made if they did play at Big Al's carpark?

massive difference Seaton play their ground very well, but I haven't rated them as highly as their position on the ladder.

To be honest Shrek & i've said it earlier its not a strong comp by any means, you know that, in saying that i think Kilburn are way ahead of all teams & Macca has his Falcons just warming up & playing the right type of footy to give you blokes a run for your money.
Kilburn to still finish top for mine at the end of the minor round.
Kilburn
Payenham
Seaton
SMOSH
Mitcham

My top 5 end of minor round.

Disagree for a start: don't think your ladder is actually possible without us losing to Salisbury and/or CBC at home NM, given that PNU and Kilburn Play each other.

I'm still backing us to Finish top. 3/4 wins should get us there (obviously we want four!) given Seatons Loss on the weekend hurting their percentage.

Goes without saying: Huge match against Kilburn. Still have them marked as the team to beat - have soem class midfielders and a full-forward on fire all year.

I agree that's probably the order of how good the teams are and agree this year is not the strongest comp. the minor round ladder will not finish like that though.

I'm still not sure where I rate SMOSH as I haven't seen enough and do not know much about them. Unlikely that I'll play this week so will probably sit back and have a good watch.

I think Seaton will bounce back against athelstone this week, If they can can get up up against Athelstone and Mitcham then they will have a crack at top spot. I think the team with the toughest run home is Payneham having to play Kilburn and SMOSH in the last 2, for me they have to win one of those two to keep 4th spot, Mitcham only a game and .60% behind With the 2 bottom sides salisbury to play. kilburn will win the rest of there games but it's up to the teams above them if they move up or down. I think the side in the top 5 that has the most to worry about is Seaton especially in it's next 2 games with Athelstone and Mitcham, they will still play finals but could see them losing there double chance.

Seaton will be without J.James for the last 3 minor round games & 1st final providing they don't finish top, he's heading overseas for a month.
I can see them dropping the Mitcham game at Mitcham & even Salisbury could upset them at Salisbury.
Big loss is James.

If they drop 3 of the last 4 could see them sitting 5 and having to play mitcham or payneham at home, could be out first round of finals

We had a better side on paper when you were there yet you couldn't get the results. Suck it up mate and I hope we stick it up you!

After seein Athelstone almost beat SMOSH a few weeks back, hearing about the belting they gave PNU and climbing up to 3rd, what and how have they lost two in a row at home and potentially face a season defining match against Seaton this week? Anyone from Athelstone on here wanna comment? I'd still fancy them knicking 5th spot but have they got injuries or!?!?

Athlestone Coach Rocky Butterworth on Saturday Gameday from 10am-12pm on 100.5 WOWFM this Saturday(or listen online wowfm.org/) It will be very interesting to ask him exactly that. What has happened in the last 2 weeks because from all reports a couple of weeks ago when they thumped us they really did look the goods. Now they look a real chance to miss finals. A week is a long time in footy in case you didnt believe it already.

For them to take 5 spot it all comes down to this week they have to beat Seaton at Seaton and they will need mitcham to lose to Sailsibury this week. If they did beat Seaton this week then you would have to fancy Mitcham chances to knock Seaton off the following week, especially playing on there home deck. There best chance for 5 spot could be Seaton losing there next 3, now that could be interesting sitting in 2 spot 4 weeks from finals and not making the 5.I still don't fancy there chances after mitcham gave them a touch up and losing to Salisbury both at home.

Welcome back ar$ewipe, & excuse me but you obviously don't like my honesty in relation to my thoughts on Div3? Thats nothing unusual you were the same as an assistant coach behind my back.
I don't know how you come to the conclusion you had a better side back then than now, the competition sunshine back then was far superior than it is this year & you should know that. The side aswell was virtually the same as the 2 previous years you finished stone cold last ( bottom ) i don't see you giving the coach from back then a hard time now.
As a coach unfortunately you can't get out there & do it yourself although i know i would of done a better job than half of you soft pr!cks if i had put on the boots even at my age!! You blokes were an embarrassment to yourselves, the club, your supporters & your coach, i don't know how you can look each other in the eye after your efforts, truly disgraceful how every week you'd be looking for someone & more times than not the coach to blame for your failures & thats why you failed.
Yes you blokes are 2nd to top now woopy doo suck it up peanut, i've seen it so many times before & so many times you crash when the prize is there to be won.
I don't like seeing the clubs around me fail so don't try & put words in my mouth although i couldn't give a sh!t about your club & i have every right to feel the way i do about that, the way i was treated by alot of you i'll never forget & excuse me but your club has done nothing for me, other clubs in the area ain't in the same boat as yours, just because i might not rate a side at present that doesn't mean i want to see them fail, its just my HONEST opinion & thats something you & your other whiteant mates wouldn't have a clue about.
