The way the Roos have bounced back after the hawthorn game and losing to the power is a credit to them and hope you can hold onto your spot in the eight.

the umpiring was bloody woeful. No way am i saying it favoured the Kangas, far from that. It was to no advantage to any side, but how many times did players just drop the ball and not get paid for incorrect disposal? That was the worse umpiring game I've seen in a long time. Atleast it had no influence on the match and the better side on the day won.

agree 100%
two teams played with everything they both had and the umpires killed it
if anything the roos got the better of some desicions but in alot of cases richmonds players ability to have brain faeds cost them

Couldn't believe that deliberate paid against Cotchin in the 3rd qtr! That was one of many baffling calls yesterday!

The umps certainly put the whistle away in the last term, like they do in grand finals.

Why do they put the whistle away when it gets tight?

Probably because they dont wanna cop it if they make a wrong call that changes the outcome of the game.

Having said that, NOT calling a free thats definately there is just as bad as calling one thats not there.

You see some soft ones paid early in the game or in games where game is over.... yet in the last term of thight games you see about 2 or 3 frees in a passage of play that would have been played earlier.....

I just wish they would leave the whistle in the pocket all the time

There has to be some sort of penalty for a player whos dropped the ball or held it too long in a tackle though. If there wasnt, whats the incentive for the chasing player to make that extra effort?

That decision was embarrassing. Showed the umpires had no feel for the game I think

Surely it is time that umpires are able to be held accountable for such umpiring and are able to be criticised in the media after games/during the week. the amount of non calls was a joke. i think richmond got the better end of it but each to their own i guess

It was refreshing to hear Bruce say the umpire should be sacked in the first quater when he called the first deliberate out of bounds. Dennis was sounded pretty shocked, but since he's right up the AFLs arse, its no surprise.

Won 6 of the last 7 - lost 3 games by under a goal this season, we are getting better. Should now finish 6th and get a "home final".

You guys have looked good in the second half of the year. It seems the hawks game was the catalsyt needed.

A home final against the cats will be tough but I would say.you gus are playing the right sort of football at the moment to get past that. Still there is alot of football to be played before the finals start. Anything could happen.

You would think playing Freo in Perth would be an easier task than a finals hardened Geelong in Melbourne.

i hope we are not getting ahead of ourselves
we have several hard games to come against collingwood, freo and essendon
even though all the teams above are not playing great footy collingwood and essendon have had the wood over north
the next two weeks are interesting with the suspensions and hopefully thay make the right choices
would hope greenwood comes in for adams who needs to be rested and young cruz would be close to a game
think campbell will go straight into starting 18 for thomas
would get greenwood in for adams
and the young fella as super sub
mcintosh is in line to play this week or next and really believe he could be the x factor come finals if they make it
