Great day of footy at Jet Park.
Cs by heaps over Seaton.

B grade was a good win for us over GG. Good lead at half time, but GG responded well in 3rd quarter and prob won the 2nd half I'd say.
Umpiring was good i thought, I was playing and thought it was ok... choccies may not agree??

A grade was a great game of local footy to watch! Jets up at half time, but GG kicked 5 in a row in the 3rd. Big fella was a lone hand up forward for GG with probably 7 or 8 out of their 10.
Jets hit back in the last for a 4 goal win.... even tho had 4 or 5 injuries!!

Only problem is that every team has the same problem each week. Take off your blinkers Unley Jets FC and admit you have a problem....

Thanks to Elizabeth for getting involved with something that was clearly important to our club today.

I think I mentioned after winning the flag about my granny. She actually sewed our first jumpers together and used to make the pasties for the canteen back in the day.

Good win by the 1's today... As jabber said as a club we really appreciate elizabeth doin the minutes silence.

But i reckon match of the day was in the 2's.... That would have to be one of the best reserve games ive been involved with, however the result didn't go our way.... It was a slog. Turnovers killed plympton... Elizabeths forward who kicked 6th was probably best for them. some great passages of play from both side. It was a shoot out for 3 quarters then the in the last only one goal was kicked... devo we didnt get the result, cause i knew we were in a good spot to win... Last 10 minutes in the 3rd really cost us....
There was a beat of heat in the game, but it wouldnt be a Eliz v PFC if there wasnt any... Umpires weren't really an issue. which is nice...
Alot of 'what ifs' if we won today, but it didnt go our way.
Well done to elizabeth, and good luck for the rest of the season.

Once again thank you efc for respecting our wishes...

Are u f'n kidding laser ?? Our joker gave you blokes more than what he gave us !! Even speaking to your coach after the game he said your umpire is a disgrace so take what you want from that !!
He wasn't as bad as he usually is but I guess when you're 8 goals up at half time his job is redundant.

But apart from all of that, both Unley's A and B grade sides were too good and too polished for us yesterday.

17 years at Ingle Farm and the song has always been sung on the oval. I like it and i reckon our supporters like seeing it to.But really who cares, win and you don't have to see it, and now everybody knows it annoys you i hope every club sings it on the oval against you from now on.

HV have sung the song on the oval after a win for as long as I've been at the club. Never had a problem with other clubs doing it too, just always thought it was the norm. Have noticed though that plympton never did it and I'm sure their not alone. Simply I think it's a case of whatever works for your club
