I wasn't having a crack - I'd heard he was old. That fact was verified.

Why's that?

Does it have anything to do with an off the ball incident that left an Unley player with severe facial fractures ?

I don't know anything about this - I didn't see any incident before I left that would warrant such concern - but if what you say is fact, then I'd be very disappointed to hear it has happened and would hope appropriate measures are taken.

My understanding is that the game was stopped for a lengthy period whilst an ambulance attended the lad who was unconscious for a substantial period.
May get interesting outside of SAAFL as I also hear that the lads father is alledgedly a QC and is looking for this to be handled " approriately "..

I don't think Chris Judd is a registered user on safooty. The AFL provide us with video evidence etc.

Nah you are probably right, however if SAAFL tribunal members are and they take forum talk on here in to consideration then maybe they need to look at how they do things..
I am sure they are professional enough and don't...

Not once has any mention been made of what the incident alledgedly was or how it occured other than off the ball.
All that has been mentioned is that a player was heavily concussed, suffered facial injuries and the game was interupted.
It was then added to that the opposition player involved suffered a broken arm.

If people on here draw their own conclusions and see that as potentially influencing a tribunal hearing, then so be it...

How are we supposed to know there is a tribunal appearance to come when the SAAFL don't list them anymore??????

That's why she said to leave it to the judiciary if there's an investigation pending as you have pointed out that there probably is.

I would like to congratulate Brenton Bottroff on his 300th game for plympton tommorrow by playing in the reserves. A tremendous effort. A life member, 3 time reserves premiership player, current reserves captain. Knowing Botts for so long I'm very i happy i get to be apart of it. Great work mate.

Apparently hectovilles Mazzone got 4 weeks? What happened to the GG drinks boy who got into some on field biff?

The reported Elizabeth player apparently could not attend the tribunal as he is still in hospital. The Jets wish him a speedy recovery.... not.

Choccies, had a word to our B grade umpire and he said he can't wait for the GG game, setting himself for a big one I reckon.

Should be a good game in the A's vs Golden Grove, we have never beaten them so be great to knock them off and get closer to that Minor Prem.

I actually would have thought it was in Unley's best interests for him to recover quickly - so he can get to the tribunal and you can be vindicated.

Best wishes to your player on his recovery, as head injuries are a terrible thing and no one likes to see them.

Dont think his decision making will be any better or worse based on the fact he is "setting" himself for it ...as most on this forum (except you Jetters) believes the bloke is biased to the extreme. I would imagine the free kick count from him will go the way most expect...... none in a fair and unbiased manner

Great day of footy at Jet Park.
Cs by heaps over Seaton.

B grade was a good win for us over GG. Good lead at half time, but GG responded well in 3rd quarter and prob won the 2nd half I'd say.
Umpiring was good i thought, I was playing and thought it was ok... choccies may not agree??

A grade was a great game of local footy to watch! Jets up at half time, but GG kicked 5 in a row in the 3rd. Big fella was a lone hand up forward for GG with probably 7 or 8 out of their 10.
Jets hit back in the last for a 4 goal win.... even tho had 4 or 5 injuries!!
