Geelong Season 2012

Talk on the national game

well considering collingwood were 34 points up at qtr time and need % to guarantee a good spot in the top 4, i really dont think the game was a complete hammering. I think the result tells us more about collingwood then the cats. as cats fans we all knew where we are at.

on last nights results collingwood wont win the flag.

but also now the cats will be struggling for the finals.

and Hawkins, cant get worse MP, but when is he going to get better?? put him at CHF as a lead up forward, far enough away from goals that he wont be having shots!

I dont think Collingwood will win the flag based on last nights win either as Collingwood have their fair share of injury concerns, reports so theirs alot of room for improvement & hopefully they learnt alot from last year peaking too early.

Need a forward, can't watch Hawkins anymore really letting his team down missing simple shots all the time... Maybe instead of Boak they should get Cloke... ;) Hawkins makes Cloke look like he has a good leg.

I can't recall a worse shot for goal. Even Richo used to hit the side of a barn occasionaly!

The only team Fev will play for in Geelong is one who is stupid enough to pay the 5 grand fee for him to play.

Who needs Fev, we have Tomahawk....

Oh We Are Geelong
The Greatest Team of All
We Are Geelong
We're Always on the ball
We play the game as it should be played
At home or far away
Our banners fly high
From dawn to dusk
Down at Kardinia Park

Since the bye:
Lost to Sydney by a goal
Won over the Power by 38 points
Won over Gold Coast by 14 points
Lost to Coll'wood by 31 points
Won over Essendon by 67 points
Won over Adelaide by 27 points
Won over Hawthorn by 2 points

5-2 since the bye, beating finals teams Essendon, Adelaide and Hawthorn in our last three.

If we get over* West Coast next week (big ask), we may not lose another game.

id question essendon as a finals team, they had a reserves side out there.

adelaide - shouldnt lose at home

hawks - well that was almost as good as it gets, but coughing up a 51pt lead

and we will win next week v eagles

Geelong stood up and made sure they got a win as much as Hawthorn lost it. Seriously I will lay it on the line when a team has 12 more free kicks ala Hawthorn of course they will come back.

Win next week and the cats will at least finish 5th, with a chance of sneaking in to 4th and maybe playing Sydney two weeks in a row
