Could possibly have a solution for you...

Download a freeware (I think it is) program called BadCopy Pro) and install to your laptop.

- Format your USB and then run the program.
- under recovery source select Flas Drive and Zip Disk
- then in right hand panel select recovery mode = Rescue Lost Files
- follow defaults and save the rescued files to your laptop.

You will need to sift thru all of the files created as it gives them all a generic name, and recovers all file included any deleted files.

As I said, this may work or it may not but you can have a crack at it.

And as I tell all the kids here at school...

BACKUP YOUR WORK

There is this option too if any media files are involved: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Bac ... very.shtml
Softpedia also offer a number of other file recovery programmes, some of which may help: http://www.softpedia.com/progFinder

the protestors at olympic dam. ffs get a job hippies, there are 100 odd police tasked with keeping an eye on them cos they are wilfully causing damage. those cops could be elsewhere doing real police work instead of babysitting a bunch of melodramatic, druggie vandals.

Would save a lot of money if SAPOL just put up a couple of snipers and if any one trespassers they can take a shot.
