We wont risk him, Bellchambers is more than capable but id love to see Gumbleton get a crack, his form in the VFL has been excellant

Jimbo you think Gumby is 1 injury away from being dropped off the list? Massive talent but how long can you carry him?

I think they will persist with him for a year or 2 more at least, Hirdy cant say enough of how good he thinks he will be. He had a lot of back related issues which were misdiagnosed for years and caused him to miss a fair bit of footy. Finally he was diagnosed correctly and had back surgery which forced him to spend over a year out of footy. Since resuming in the VFL he has played 8 or 9 straight and by all reports fitter than ever. Hirdy still thinks we can get another 10 years out of him, lets hope so and we will have to wait and see

yep fair enough, didnt know he had been back for that long. DEfinately a good talent and we saw glimpses of what he could do when he strung a few AFL games together a while back. Hopefully he can stay right

Good win over Port and nice to finally beat them away. Skills were ordinary for 2 and a bit quarters but did enough to hang in there when it looked like Port would blow the game wide open. Very happy to see Gumbleton do well and get through unscathed, Baguley looked great on debut. Unfortunately lost Hibberd through injury and will lose Carlisle at the tribunal.
On a side note the Grey guernsey looked fantastic with white shorts, dont ever wear grey shorts again

Do you think Watson received any Brownlow votes last night?
He'd be pretty close to leading wouldn't he?

Would think he would have got at least 1 vote yesterday. I think he would have 5 or 6 BOG's and probably over 20 votes. Id have him a few votes up on Swan at the moment

Hope we start getting some players back as our run home won't be easy and at this rate will miss the 8.

Should welcome back Zaha, Stanton and Ryder for the Carlton game.
Hopefully the guys can show a bit of fight and get up for this one.
3 games remaining against our 3 biggest rivals so if players cant show some spirit in these 3 games then hopefully they will be moved on
