Everyone hates us and thats how we like it. They all want to play us the big stage and beat us.
But alas not many do ;)

If I post enough about you I might be able to derail your 2012 campaign. ;)

So your saying you agree the media derailed us last year ;)

Only kidding our problems last year were all internal, watched AFL 360 last night and it's sounding more positive that Trav isn't far from having a deal done then it did last week, hope its wrapped up soon.

SCOTT Pendlebury's ambitious bid to miss just one AFL game with a broken leg appears to have failed, after Collingwood today listed him as two weeks away from returning

TRAVIS Cloke's management has told Collingwood the forward could be persuaded to sign for four years if the club increases the cash on offer.

Speaking to AFL.com.au on Monday, Cloke's father and manager David has conceded ground on the possibility of a four-year deal for the first time.

But at the same time, Cloke Snr insists a five-year option is still a priority.

"We're still having talks about all sorts of things at the moment. At the moment … we still want five years," he said.

He said if club agreed to five years, a deal would be imminent.

"We could be [close] if they agree on five years, our figure's reasonable close. If the figure is four years, there's a difference between the two," he said.

"If they want us to agree on four years, the (annual) figure's going to be higher than over five years. "

Maybe they are just getting the bean counters to go through the books to make sure they are still under the cap before announcing anything

Travis Cloke apparently will be signing a 5 year deal soon. Good for the pies to keep him but I dont think he was ever going to go anywhere else. Apparently Carlton, Melbourne and Freo have shown serious interest. you can understand carlton being keen but I couldnt see how they would fit him in the cap.

I think he wants 900K doesnt he? I'm not sure he is worth that but in saying that he is a very good player and very important to Collingwood especially with Dawes' form of late. But still hes not worth 900K. Just my opinion. I think he has done well to get a 700K deal especially if it turns out to be for 5 years. Really I think he should be around the 500 - 600K mark.

Also I think collingwood have done well to keep all there key players and remain under the cap. But still someone will be squeezed out I'm just wondering if it will be another John McCarthy type case. Whilst he is not an elite midfielder has been handy at Port. So I'm interest to see who gets the squeeze as they have a number of good young players coming through.

Great player no doubt, and very important for us....but overpriced because big good blokes are hard to find. In my opinion its the elite mids that get this sort of money because without them..he wouldnt get a touch in the forward 50.

Best contested grab in league. Developed KP forwards hard to come by. Premiership window is now. Can see why he is commanding a high price tag, but it will be the expense of other players in his team.
