For me the line up is pretty average - never got into Soundgarden.
Hilltops & Living End, etc - how many times have they played the BDO in the last few years?
Lack of quality, recycled bands & $165 is too much for what they are offering.

Having said that it would still be a ripper day.

$100 - $120 is what it should be I reckon, I wouldn't pay anything over that.

AC/DC - $150
Metallica - $150
Pearl Jam - $150
Living End ( Thebbie ) - $45
Soundwave - $165

BDO at $170 is good value IMO and not too expensive*.

*Depending upon who is on the bill though.

If you want to go far, go together.

I wonder if the BDO is a victim of trying to please too many people at once. Seems like the festivals that are most successful at the moment (Parklife, Future Music, Soundwave etc) are fairly genre specific.

That was the beginning of its demise...

The photo in Saturday's Advertiser said it all.... That type of "music lover", if you can even call them that, weren't to be seen at BDO's 7-10 years ago.

Soundwave's line up this year is as good as any thats ever graced our shores for a festival. Genre specific and boy have they got some quality this year.
