"Luckily" for us we settled better afterwards and ran away with the game. Heccies will have alot to do over the next 6 weeks me thinks....

We will get a few first choice players back over the next few weeks which will strengthen us in all grades. We really struggled for numbers over the grades this weekend....

Few lads on Facebook said that Scuddsy nearly killed someone on the weekend? One bloke you wouldnt drop into the hole infront of  hows big scudda been doing?

Him and his (now don't quote me on the exact identity cause I'm not 100%) brother (water boy) connected with a few punches. Both should be (especially the waterboy) given lengthy suspensions, but doubt it will happen.
For him to run on the field and start throwing hay-makers makes a mockery/laughing stock of the likes of 'BurraBoys' ever complaining about Jake Mazzone.

Anyway, as Choccies said GG won easily and so they should have. Easily the weakest A grade side I've seen put on the park in my 10yrs with the club. Would have been only 5-6 first choice A graders playing. And to add to that had 4 injured players sitting on the bench in the last qtr. Massive 6 weeks ahead. Fingers crossed can get some players back.

Was this reported by the umpires, if not are the club informing the League?

If the answer to the above is no - then why bring it up as it obviously isn't that serious if the powers that be can't be bothered - if it is Yes then that is eactly what the League is looking for and well done

No, but a couple of dwarves from Hectorville should have been reported for stupidity for trying to gang up on Shane.....

Very different reaction from the gg boys compared to the tackle from the first game this yr . Couldn't get on here quick enough to complain about a tackle that was part of the game but when someone who isnt playing comes onto the field and throws punches its not that a big of a deal... That was the most disgusting behavior I have ever seen at a game of footy. In my opinion if the individual isn't held responsible the club should be . I know for a fact it's on video but won't be surprised when nothing happens about this

Wouldn't be the first incident captured on video to be ignored by the league. They do however take player testimony over umpire testimony when it suits them. Guess if the victim is someone the league likes, he's fine. If not, he's in trouble.

Again, point me to a quote where anyone has come forward and condoned or supported a violent action?

My reaction regarding incidents earlier in the year included a tackle as well as other behind the play incidents. The tackle was the proverbial 'straw'. Since that incident was discussed, numerous other reports regarding the same player have suggesting that questionable on field behavior is consistent with the individual in question.

Rarely is an in game incident purely one sided. Provocation and reaction are hand in hand.

I think the point we were trying to make was don't come on here naming and shaming and acting all high and mighty when in fact blokes in your own backyard aren't perfect. Just makes you look like a hypocrite.

Oh FFS, almost 3 pages of pure girly whinging from several people..

Don't make me close this thread like I did the div 6 forum, because I'm sure I'll find some personal attacks on others if I bother to actually go back and read it all properly.

Let's talk footy like adults instead of whinging little girls, eh?
