The rivalry is back!

Was it ever gone???

It has to be said......got bloody quiet for a few years there, and showdowns got pretty uneventful to the point where neither teams looked like they cared....Now there is some spite, a bit of banter and hopefully some push and shove on saturday night, with a power win to top it off

I don't think there need to be 2 per year. It would mean a lot more to both clubs if it was just the one. Or they piss the pre season cup "showdown" off.

Sitting in Melbourne Airport on Saturday, got there early due to car hire issues, long story, anywho had about 2 hours sitting there.

Found a quiet spot in a corner to sit and watch the world go past. Was watching a bloke taunt his lad by holding his forehead at arms length while the kid swung an empty plastic water bottle trying to hit Dad. Kid was about 4 or 5 and never got close, but you could see the kid getting pumped up and Dad had to tell him to settle down, well, you wound him up.

Next thing, Dad drops his guard for a minute, gives junior the "enough" call and for one moment drops his guard and junior whallops him in the bollocks, dropping Dad to his knees.

Mum turns around and has a go at Dad for winding the kid up!!

Ha, my older lads do similar to my just turned 7 yo, trouble is he'll just go and crack them later when they aren't expecting it and then they wonder why.
