Looking forward to hear how the great Jamie Downs fairs this week.. Another Key forward along his Brother may be a significant key for Peake this year..

Hope someone tells him that the speed limit is now 110kmh just dont want him to be late, just figured he hasnt been out that way for a while since he was on his Learners.. :D

Good luck Boys...

Pinnaroo were comfy winners y'day. Good showing by Peake though.
I note the Paralowie boys dominated the Lions' best players.

the score may look comfy but it was really just a 10 min. period early in the game that was the differance and it pretty much stayed that margin the whole game they had some big bodys around the ball which also helped in those condtions where as we had alot of light bodys around the ball but yeah we are slowly coming together i guess it doesnt help when each week we have'n up to 6-7 changes and dont get me started on the umpire's fair dinkum they all knew each other on a 1st name basis and were shocking .

If umpires have been around long enough - they know everyone's names though.
They'll know yours soon.

The umpires would know you too if you guys lived in the area all your life. The umpiring was shithouse for both teams yesterday. Pinnaroo also dominated the last quarter, not just a 10 minute period, but you guys did have some good patches and have improved from last year.

yeah in the last you guys did run things on your terms after you kicked the first 2 in 2 mins a few of our younger guys did drop there heads a little when you's got them but it was a fairly even game i thought for most of the day you guys did finish well and the skill level was ok for the wet .

Just wondering if it is ok to have a contest agaisnt a full forward in this comp? From what i have noticed in three weeks is that the umps ;ove the forwards in this comp. Unless you are young Jamie Downs trying to take a mark. Very hard to get your head around some of there calls

yeah i thought he went ok. They had a couple of players who looked like they came from the caveman era. Tall and would club there lady over the head and drag them back to there cave. Honestly didnt think we were that far off the mark
