Bays get a good win and Bay posters decide to not talk about the game and winge about the speakers and cars in the ground ....

Chardy please ...

OK then, please explain to me why Fuller has a 4 goal lead at half time and decides to use Andy Collins' play book?

Well there should be plenty of Champagne lying around, apparently that was your Grand Final based on emails flying around the last two weeks amongst the South faithfull/past players....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

yep i agree about kirky, can never question his effort. Skills at time are questionable.

South dead set got what they deserved today. At no stage in the 3rd Qtr did they try and win the game and boy didn't that come back bite them on the butt.

That was a huge win for us with Mules and Milne being late omissions from the side and all it did was allow a young Kid in Tom Edwards to show what he is capable of when asked to hold down a key defensive position. No one deserved to take the late mark over the pack than Kirk. It was a Match Winning mark and showed he could be the big defender we have been missing.

Trembath and Kirkby worked well up forward using one as a lead up player and the other staying deep leading from the square.

Really thought we may have been in trouble with the size advantage South had and only playing one ruck man could have seen us smashed in the midfield, however we made it work and with in and under players like Allen, Agnew, McFarlane we just loved the hard contest.

Pretty hard to play to save the game then try and flick the switch back on to attack and win the game. I am very thankful but still don't understand why South did this with the firepower they have up forward.

Gutsy win to hang in there and take the game on was a good sign.

Third straight year these teams have produced a thriller at Noarlunga (draw in 2011, 6 pt win to Glg in 2010).

To only have 5 goals kickers say a bit about South. Became too reliant on McKernan, and you could probably say only Rolfe was the other forward who had an impact, albeit not on the scoreboard. Perhaps Liddle’s quietest game for the club stats wise. Shocking luck for Thewlis. Has had a terrible run this season and over his career really.

It was a fairly ugly scrap for the first 3 terms (46 ball ups to half time according to the radio boys). Glenelg, like South in the third, flooded heavily during the 2nd term but at least managed to set up a few shots on goal unlike South.

Yet another blown opportunity at home. To be 4-8 with our playing list is dreadfully disappointing.

Lastly pretty ordinary crowd (touch under 2k) given the weather was ok and we were playing nearest rival.

Kirk in - Bays win.

What a fantastic grab by Kirk in the dying stages. He always has your heart in your mouth when around a contest; wouldn't have it any other way. The boys certainly enjoyed the rousing reception they received when walking thru the gates after the siren. Best win of the year. 3 week break now, then hopefully come back firing for the run in.

We also got some bloke singing kids songs during the 3rd quarter with a beefed up amp just next to the Grand* Stand - that was only slightly annoying. I think the GFC coaching staff went and coached from the bench at about the 20 minute mark because it was so loud and ridiculous.

And then he took a break when the 3/4 time siren sounded!  Obviously the 4 kids listening to him were more important than everyone in the Grandstand who were trying to watch a game of League football. I know the Emperor wasn't happy.

Can any Southees confirmed he is still with the club after being dropped?? Unconfirmed reports are that he has quit.
