Digraceful, should be thrown out immediately.
With three wins today of over 170 points the association has become even more of a laughing stock than it already was.
23 goals in a quarter is outrageous

Agree Hamish what a disgrace Callington are, 11 blokes had the honour of having more than 100 goals kicked against them in a day.

I agree this must stop. Hopefully the pain will end in a few weeks. Good on them though for still naming best players. You've gotta hand it to any player who has the nuts to put up with that crap, week in and week out, paid or unpaid.
Players win awards. Teams win games. Clubs win Premierships.

I am interested to hear what clubs are paying for recruits in country, are there some clubs paying out big dollars, or do they do a best player system like Mt Lofty where best player gets $500-00?
Or do they do both?
Are some clubs paying much more than others there used to be a salary cap of 30K is this getting exceeded?

How about you tell us what Blackwood are spending and then we'll think about telling you what we're doing.

unfortunately for both echunga and birdwood, if they take up the option to move to central division in 2013, they'll need to spend even more just to be competitive. it's completely unsustainable.

I don't think Echunga would be spending very much at all to be honest.
But to make that jump up into Central League and look at finals they will need to pay out a bit more.

Echunga have the luxury of being able to maintain their list including new recruits by giving a little out to a lot, there is no marquee player as the bloke I thought was on big coin is on f-all.
They're also blessed with the fact that their current side would be competitive in central.
