Yes, it is bizarre. Same thing will happen with Glenelg in Rounds 15/16 and Eagles Round 18/19 - the second two week break for the Eagles after having the bye the week before the State game as well.

From a player management point of view it is Gold. A real chance to freshen up players both mentally and physically.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
