I believe nobody accepted the bet .... i put out the bait but no one took it
Morphett Vale would have been a big shock to the new sharks recruits ... they wouldnt have known what hit them , imagine if it was a dry day

Saints wanted the win more than the lions ..... signs were not good early and full credit to the saints .... lions missed their 2 most important players and probably 6-8 of their best squad were unavailable

I saw a bit of the game and dingy's have certainly improved this year. I reckon they mite a shock a few middle of the road teams. ie Morphy park etc. I can see more than a couple of wins on the horizon for the sharks. They seemed pretty hard at it. I guess we'll see.

I was shaking in my boots a bit considering I bet my house with a 20 goal headstart. luckily Im not homeless......bloody wet weather footy.

To be fair it pissed down in U18 and B grade but not a drop of rain in the A's.
Morphettvale been pumping iron by the looks of some of their players.

I wouldn't say it was exactly dry weather footy tho.

Did Sly Stallone pay a visit to Emu land on his recent visit to Aust. Few extra hormones into the boys.....The majority of the boys are hung like cashew nuts as it is - so this certainly won't help their cause.

Marion in the A's lost by 3 goals to Reynella. Not sure about B's? Marion B's are terrible - I assume they lost - by a lot!!

they only went down by 3 goals surely this is as a result of the weather or have the wineflys dropped off big time?

Bit of both I reckon - Can't see Marion getting into the 8 this year, and Reynella will be around the middle of the road with Lonsdale, Christies, Pt Noarl and Flaggies.... I heard the Reynella boys aren't real happy with their new coach!!?

This is a good round with some very close games to pick
F/Hill V Aldinga -F/hill by 5-8 goals is my tip
Brighton V Morphett Vale -m/vale by 10-15 goals to strong
Morphville pk V Southern Hawks -m/ville by 8-10 goal could be closer if southern hawks are switched on
Christies V Pt.Noarlunga -porties by 5-10 goals will still be a good side dispite losing players
Marion V Noarlunga - noarlunga by 1-3 goals closest game of the round could go either way
Lonsdale V Cove - cove 12-15 goals to strong up foward for the lions
Reynella V Happy Valley-happy valley 10-15 up and running at the moment reynella still learing game plan
just for fun this is my tips for this week

Flaggies over the Sharks by no more than 10 goals.
M/Vale over the Bombers by 10 goals. (I wonder how HARD that turf pitch will be, back in my playing days it was harder than concrete)
Morphie Parks by 10 goals (I wonder how the old Westie Peter Meuret is going..??)
Porties by 8-10
Marion... Just..?? (Tossed a coin on that one)
Cove by plenty
Happy Valley by 5ish (Have Reynella got any ins yet..?? From their injured list, they usually put up a good fight against the Valley)
