KLAG - not intending to hijack, just adding to your thread.

I was foolish enough to challenge my staff to come up with a way to support charity this year and one of them came up with the terrific idea to run a half marathon (with the City to Bay as a lead up event)!

I've been running my guts out lately and things are coming along well, but need some help to hit our $2,000 fundraising target in support of heart and cancer charities through Go the Distance.

Our page is accessible via this link, any donation or message of support you can contribute will be greatly appreciated - and don't forget with tax time less than a week away, your donations are tax deductable almost instantly!

Smac, you're definitely not hijacking... I named the thread Everyday hero'es' in the hope that it would get other people promoting the ways they are trying to help charity too.

Sorry to annoy you all again with this topic... but i thought this one might interest a few of you.



I'm holding a trivia night in the Magarey Room at AAMI Stadium on the 14th of September.

It's a general trivia night, not just footy questions (although i'm sure a few of you would prefer all football, haha).

There will be auctions, raffles & prizes throughout the night.
