How did the grounds hold up after Saturday? I can only imagine some!

This could be quite a good game....form suggests Brahma too good but night games can carry strange results and the ball is harder to judge. If Kenilworth win here all of a sudden they are in the log jam fighting for 3rd spot and they play ALL of the sides fighting for that spot @ home for the remainder of the year with the exclusion of Glenunga.

I found it pretty ordinary that Glenungas B grade ump didnt rock up til half time. Luckily our club ump did a fantastic job, as always.

Half agree with that mate.
Not sure what the reason for the late arrival of our umpire was, so I wont be too hard on him, might have been a legit reason ?
But I will agree with you, Thought the old guy from NH doing half the game on his own was more doing an excellent job, not easy to umpire a game by yourself.

Your B grade looked very well drilled, switched the play nicely and ran pretty hard.
If you can keep that group you will be hard to beat I reckon.

The A Grade looked to be a closer game than the margin said I thought tho, I know, bad kicking is bad footy, but I think scoring shots and inside 50's were pretty even, the NH forward line obviously performed better in front of the big white sticks ( which is all that matters at the end of the day i guess)
Congrats to NH for a couple of good wins :)

Perceptions are a great thing about footy as they are unique and individual. I thought Glenunga looked competitive for a quarter and a half but, I think Haven were fairly well superior in all areas. Haven Midfielders looked strong, aggressive and well skilled.

What time does the game start? Is the B grade playing before the A's?

I second that! I had a chat with him after our game and gave him some positive feedback about his performance - definitely the best i've seen from a club umpire
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

the 2 umpires we had on saturday were excellent..best we have had all year..one was from mt gambier and told us how he would umpire the game and thats exactly what he did..fwiw the count was 10 for and 21 against but they were still good..

i would post this in the div 6 thread but i cant..no need to lock all of us out FC..just ban the transgressors..
