Hille done his shoulder in the vfl today!
But big Gumbleton played his second good game on the trot

Will get more excited about Gumbleton if he can string a few games together.
The club has put a lot of faith in him, hoping he can produce the goods

Agreed. Hoping his injuries are well and truly behind him as he'd be very handy working in tandem with Hurley and Crameri.

Disappointing first 3 quarters!
Second to the ball and got beaten at our own game (pace)
The last quarter showed what we are capable of but we were exposed in certain areas in the first 3 quarters and must improve if we are to play deep in september..
Like last week our goal kicking was terrible. Bad kicking is bad football!!!
Really disappointed that Melksham hasn't taken the next step and become a genuine AFL player yet.
Was earmarked a star in the making but has failed to deliver so far.

Hirdy and Thompson must be angry at this pathetic football we have produced in the last couple of weeks. I can only see things getting better so lets hope I'm right.

Havn't won a game in June since 2009, don't know why but it isnt a great record.
Conversion and forward structure a real issue ATM, very real chance to undo our good early season form and even miss finals if we cant turn it around

Why did Zaharakis not play, and when is he returning?

How is that worse than the Strut shit you clowns have been wearing all year. At least when you wore it before you earned some coin out of it. Carlton players have been getting injured deliberately to get out of wearing it I reckon.

That 'strut' shit as you call it is ok and it is at least a regular looking jumper but for another team as you mention. It isn't the navy blue and there lies the problem and the reason why next year there is a return to the white one.
Essendon, as this is about them, would do better to reverse their colors as their clash

clash blash! Who cares? It is a stupid rule or idea. We have gotten on for over 100 years wearing actual guernseys now suddenly we want to soccerise the purity of our game and our traditional clubs and make them wear some dodgy Hollywood glitter and glam. Stinks as far as I am concerned. Essendon's black with red diagonal stripe is alive and well and should be protected. As should all proper guernseys.

not if they wear some poxy radio active genetically modified guernsey they won't. Essendon's modern era premierships have been won in jet black jumpers with a diagonal red stripe and thats how it should remain.

Would need to finish top 2 and cant see that happening.
Cant see us winning a final in Perth or Adelaide.
Dont think this is our year but who knows we could pinch one.
