Footy is a strange game Clarrie, I heard a lot of the same thing from the stands at Unley last week

In front of the stand. Don't get me wrong though, I loved it! Only thing better than stirring up North supporters is stirring up Bays supporters.

No doubt you're correct. This was a level above what I've heard before though.

Mind you, it was one of the worst performances I've seen for a bloody long time (and as I've said previously, that's coming from a Sturt supporter...)

Terrible in front or in the stand. Not good winners either.

Thought Sturt got a dream ride with the umps in the first 1/4, evened out after that.
Great to have some targets up fwd and happy with Seamus moving the team around with McLeay and Stephens up fwd and Fraser Evans tried down back. It's taken a while but some signs that it's paying off. Great game for the young'n Levi Crause, good return by Sheeds & Jenkins.....too many to mention. Great effort today Blues

I think Evans has found his home at half back. His physique, marking and kicking abilities remind me very much of Michael Coad - the biggest loss to the Sturt Football Club since Simon Feast's departure.

North's biggest loss in 3 years (2 weeks in a row)and it's against the 2 bottom team's, a week after beating the underfeated top team :? :shock: :roll:

We love playing teams below us on the ladder obviously !

Surely Sturt, the equal bottom team can't be a 10 goal better team than the leagues 5th placed team :?

They couldn't even get within 5 goals of South last week at home 8-}

North don't play for 3 weeks now and the time they play again, could be bottom :ymsigh:

Maybe finding some middle ground would be better.

Stoked with the win, but equally puzzled by it. Hopefully it means things have clicked in place rather than we were on and they were off as has usually been the case this year.

They are playing like the bottom side, but North can't be bottom by the time they play again. Port only play once between now and then and at most will be on 4 wins. What is likely to happen though is that North will lose to the bottom, or equal bottom side for the third time in a row when they resume from the double bye.
