Good point Dutchy. As an independent observer, I would say Mals all up bet obviously stands but his individual bet was on R9 and officially recorded as such. Therefore NO CIGARS and theres not a TAB or betting agency that would payout. Its also come to my notice that no one ever takes out deductions for scratchings - quite a lerk if a hotpot is scratched during the day !

Sorry my mistake as Mals straight out bet was on R8 no4, so my previous comment refers to that bet.

I will deduct the $27000 collect on r8--4 [including my $15ooo stake] as a losing bet

As for scratchings yes I will make necessary deductions as well
In race 1 nunbers 3+4 were late scratchings after i placed my bets

hmm interesting mals intention was obviously to back r9-4 but this isnt your first error mal- on th efirst night when you bcked rovers return you put the wrong number i your selection but i let that pass as your intention was rovers return not the other horse.
