I remember Brett better as a bay player that always found space. No Offence.

Maybe he had bad body odour.... ;) :D (Joke Guys)

Us doggies supporters would razz heaps.

Thanks for the memories Brett. You were a pretty handy player for the Bays.

And found fame on US TV for getting a digit amputated for the love of his sport :D

All the best for the Future. :partyman:
Smile :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...

More than handy, but spent too many years being misused at Glenelg IMHO. The way things ended with Glenelg too was a shame, players of his ilk deserve better.

Congrats on a great career Mouse, one of the players that helped my son come so attached to the Bays at a young age.

Wonder which country club has stitched him up?

Good luck Mouse. Highlight for me was kicking the winner from the boundary against Sturt in front of 11,000 at the Bay.

Will get to watch the game from the same place he played it, the outer outer outer wing!!

Nah well done Backwell had a great career and was always frustrating to watch running around collecting possession with ease.

Loved you when you were at Carlton hated you while you played in the SANFL!

Good career, well done.
Good luck as the senior ducking coach for West Coast.
