Is that soon enough for them to play tomorrow, or is there a regulation that a clearance needs to go through at least a couple of days beforehand?

I really hoped Tailem would stand their ground on this one. Disappointing, if true.

Yeah spot on bazza

Nah I think it's a good thing, I doubt the club begged teh boys to come back and instead they did so off their own accord after causing the problem so in my eyes the club looks like theyve well and trully stood their ground. Which lets not forget was 'fulfill your contracts or become arm chair experts'.

Of course they're going to want to come back, otherwise they miss out $$. Tailem have compromised their stance, probably due to picking up two players and having a possible run at the finals is what has influenced this. That's the beautiful thing about the RMFL - 5/7 play finals - applauding mediocrity.

Surely they wont be on the same money as when they walked out on the club, if any at all?

And filling imports pockets with the extra games available to them. A major selling point for clubs trying to recruit players ;)

Well, Ramblers and Jervois had a draw despite a 7 goal lead at the half to the chooks. Very disappointing to not come home with a win after being in that situation

A few players need to have a good hard look at themselves as they tend to go missing when things get tough and when we had a heap of kids playing they need to stand up and not rest on there first half performances.

Meninge beat Mypo quite easily but it must be noted that the Tiges were missing a few

Good win to Mannum aswell. Its always satisfying to see a team lose when they do a bit of mid season recruiting and with Meninge up and about now, they will still struggle to make the finals. Knowing my luck though, they will knock us of next week

I think most teams have a few players out hear and there, especially mid season, but Meningie are definately up and about at the moment and looking at the innacurate kicking definately could have won by more

If the returning Love just plays Ressies football, and ends up playing more Ressies than League this year - doesnt that then make him a 0-Pointer for which ever club he goes to next?

Not correct. Will be a 2 point player instead of a 3.
Loses 1 point only of his rating. If it's 2 years then it would make him a 0 point player.

wow you are a serial mannum hater, you've seen one game of ours and we are completely tainted in your eyes. Sharples was listed on the team sheet for Tailem but am unsure whether he actually played, Wark for mine was Tailem's only standout player, he is an absolute gun, him and tyson wait are really the only opposition players i enjoy watching.

I heard both lads played and Sharples looked as interested as a grown up in a sand pit. Sturt said Sharples wasn't turning up to training at a ground 15mins away. How's he going to go turning up to training 1hour 15mins away? May just be an issue with committment at SANFL level. Hope for Tailem and Charlie it works out well for them. It was good to Connolly make the best players in milestone game also. Great player for Tailem and Mannum.

Dont think players get out of bed on a saturday morning and drive up the freeway for much less. Tailem, Meningie, Mannum and Mypo are disadvantaged to clubs closer to the CBD. Petrol isn't as cheap as it use to be is guess.
